Absolutely loved this boot, it was super cute and I loved the idea of the credit-card/key pocket. (I abhor carrying purses so the more pockets I have, the better!) Beautiful color, great trim and accents, and the laces felt phenomenal. (Probably best laces I’ve had on boots. I wanted to swap them out with my other pair they were so good.) I ended up returning the boots, though, because somehow the upper would crease into my feet when I walked. Something about my foot with this design didn’t jive. It was very noticeable and would have been painful to wear long term. (Good thing too, because they were for a mountain boho wedding and we went on a 4-mile hike!) I can second the comments about the wide upper ankle, it was also loose on me. Great if you need the roomy mobility or width, but my feet are narrow. (Maybe that’s why the lower part dug into my feet? I had the laces cinched all the way closed, maybe it’s designed for wider/more open fit.) Love the quick-access zipper, I don’t think I’ll ever get boots without that. I go in and out of the house so often and I don’t have the patience to tie and re-tie every time, ha. I would absolutely love to have these with the option for narrow feet/ankles with no creases digging into the foot. Super awesome boot. Let me know if you make a Version B!

Compared to other budget/style combat boots these are definitely my favorite. I buy some variation of this every couple years due to wear and tear. The zipper is smooth as butter. Inside is soft and also smooth as butter. Overall material is good. They are a little tall for convenience when putting on/off, but overall I like the height. My small toes hurt while walking but I think I'm just breaking into them. The shoe heel/sole was taller than I expected, but nothing crazy. Definitely worth the money.

Like another reviewer, I bought a 7, it was too big so I returned it for a 6 1/2. It's still a little too big, but I am going to work with it. My biggest concern is the ankles. They are pretty blown out and don't fit snug at all. It totally ruins the looks of the boot. I don't understand all the reviewers that say it fits so good. You would have to have a major misshapen ankle for these fit right. They are not made to fit normal human feet. I have decided to save my money and go to a boot store and try on boots and find some that look good and fit well. Apparently you have to pay a lot of money for that these days.
