I ordered these for my daughter and she is 11 years old so this review is basically hers. They are true to size and they are extremely cute and comfortable. They lace up but also zip on the sides which makes it easier for kids taking them on and off at school. They seem very warm and a great quality. We live in a very cold, snowy climate so I will update this review later in the season on how they are holding up and how warm they keep her.

Really straight foot was uncomfortable at first, but there is just enough room for my foot to fit. Laces only come up so high on the tongue so it sorta flops. Ultra thick shoe sole kept feet very warm in regular socks. Please note, this lasted for comfort and warmth for over 3 hours in nearly knee high snow, working. I expected my feet to hurt, but they really were amazingly comfortable. I was able to wear them all day long on day one, and have continued since. The soles make horrible noises when wet, sorta like 2 dozen kittens. This took over 4 days to realize. I still have not found a single wet spot inside the shoe. Plus, they are ADORABLE. Great looking boot, well made, comfortable, and extremely affordable equals 5 stars to me.

My last pair of winter boots (which has lasted years and I am very sad that they are wearing out) was from Dream Pairs, so I came back to seek a replacement. I expect these boots will be a great choice if you're looking for functional winter boots with a touch of style and don't mind a little chonk. ;) Things that make these a good choice of winter boots: + Fluffy lining that is comfy and will help keep warm + Seem reasonably water resistant (though I did not test this) + Sturdy, textured outsole to help minimize slipping + Reasonably light-weight + Lace and zipper closures -- laces allow you to customize the circumference of the shaft! (The shaft is pretty wide.) + There is fabric behind the zipper so unzipping widens the boot opening, but there is a barrier for snow/water between the zipper and you + The tongue of the boot is attached to the sides/shaft, again preventing any snow from squeezing in between and giving you cold, sad feet Things I found less than ideal: - Because the tongue is sewn to the sides/shaft, if you lace the boots much more narrowly than they are, it makes the stick out in a way that both looks odd and will definitely catch snow instead of keeping it out. - The laces to not go quite all the way to the top, again leaving room for snow to get in if your ankles/mid-calf require a smaller circumference - For me, personally, the shaft was quite a bit too wide, and while the laces worked well to fit the boot to my size, it resulted in the above-mentioned issues and resulted in the boots looking really chunky on my in a weird way. - This last one is NOT an actual issue with the boot (it is very clearly advertised as mid-calf), just something I would really like for winter boots in general: it would be really great if they were knee-high. Where I live, it gets cold enough that wearing multiple layers of fleece, pants, and knee-high socks sometimes just isn't enough, and that tough outer barrier of a boot all the way up to the knees really helps from the biting wind (not to mention to the monster snow dunes). In the end, I returned these boots because they were to chonky on me, but for anyone with a wider calf or okay with a chonkier look, I think these would be highly valuable, functional winter boots.

Of you have the right size, they are amazing. I want to first say, I hated my original pair. They were cute but entirely too big, so order a size down from what you think you need. The customer service was on fire though. I can't say enough about these guys. My original review said I didn't care for them because they were too big, and they reached out and sent me a smaller size at no cost to me. The smaller pair fit so much better, they are comfortable now finally. Austen from the team has been amazing every step of the way, so I will definitely give them 5 stars now. Boots are super cute, very warm, lightweight and I have found them to be 100% waterproof so far (no added spray). The correct size makes a world of difference!

It is great! The boots are good quality, keeping my feet warm and comfortable. I’ve being using it during this cold winter and I didn’t feel any cold at all. It’s waterproof and great for snow. The fact that has zipper make easy to wear.

I really wanted to like these boots! The lining is soft and it seemed like they would keep my feet warm. The sizing is very odd though. The heel is very wide/loose yet my toe is pushed all the way to the front of the boot and that part is almost too tight. So the back of my foot is sliding all over. I ordered a size up (I usually wear 7 or 7.5 so I ordered an 8). But I think a smaller size would have definitely been too small in the toe area. Unfortunately I’ll be returning these.
