I ordered these for my daughter and she is 11 years old so this review is basically hers. They are true to size and they are extremely cute and comfortable. They lace up but also zip on the sides which makes it easier for kids taking them on and off at school. They seem very warm and a great quality. We live in a very cold, snowy climate so I will update this review later in the season on how they are holding up and how warm they keep her.

The style of these boots were very cute! They are so comfortable and they kept me warm while being out. The quality is great for amazon. They are waterproof like i can’t feel anything at all. They are easy to put on and take off!

My last pair of winter boots (which has lasted years and I am very sad that they are wearing out) was from Dream Pairs, so I came back to seek a replacement. I expect these boots will be a great choice if you're looking for functional winter boots with a touch of style and don't mind a little chonk. ;) Things that make these a good choice of winter boots: + Fluffy lining that is comfy and will help keep warm + Seem reasonably water resistant (though I did not test this) + Sturdy, textured outsole to help minimize slipping + Reasonably light-weight + Lace and zipper closures -- laces allow you to customize the circumference of the shaft! (The shaft is pretty wide.) + There is fabric behind the zipper so unzipping widens the boot opening, but there is a barrier for snow/water between the zipper and you + The tongue of the boot is attached to the sides/shaft, again preventing any snow from squeezing in between and giving you cold, sad feet Things I found less than ideal: - Because the tongue is sewn to the sides/shaft, if you lace the boots much more narrowly than they are, it makes the stick out in a way that both looks odd and will definitely catch snow instead of keeping it out. - The laces to not go quite all the way to the top, again leaving room for snow to get in if your ankles/mid-calf require a smaller circumference - For me, personally, the shaft was quite a bit too wide, and while the laces worked well to fit the boot to my size, it resulted in the above-mentioned issues and resulted in the boots looking really chunky on my in a weird way. - This last one is NOT an actual issue with the boot (it is very clearly advertised as mid-calf), just something I would really like for winter boots in general: it would be really great if they were knee-high. Where I live, it gets cold enough that wearing multiple layers of fleece, pants, and knee-high socks sometimes just isn't enough, and that tough outer barrier of a boot all the way up to the knees really helps from the biting wind (not to mention to the monster snow dunes). In the end, I returned these boots because they were to chonky on me, but for anyone with a wider calf or okay with a chonkier look, I think these would be highly valuable, functional winter boots.

Keep your feet nice and warm and dry nice and light to walk in nice fit but my feet being wide I would’ve ordered a size larger and other than that they’re perfect I would highly recommend them for your money

these boots are sooo cute & so cozy inside. they are perfect for the snow. the quality is pretty nice also. not too heaving of boots but sturdy

I purchased these in a Lightning Deal right before Christmas for $23.99. As a mother to 2 preteens, my needs often get put on the back-burner but this year I decided to splurge on these super comfy looking boots. First of all, the boots are just as pictured. However, it should be noted the top of the boot near the toe area is a "water-resistant" nylon material. They are also completely fur lined, and it feels like heaven first putting them on. The fur liner is just so soft and plush! It's amazing. They looked a little big and bulkier than I had hoped, and I wasn't super fond of the the top of the toe area being a material but overall I was happy with the looks of the boot. Now for negatives... --I ALWAYS wear a size 8, so that is what I ordered. These fit more like an 8 1/2 or maybe even a 9. I guess the extra space would be nice if you were looking to double or triple up on socks, BUT these boots are already SO WARM I can't imagine anyone really needing to do that in boots that aren't completely waterproof. --Which brings me to the next point: they were a pain to zip! I was pregnant at the time but honestly folks, I'm small-boned, and I weighed about 120-148 wearing these during my pregnancy. My calves didn't swell, and I still had to have help zipping these suckers up. It was a 2 person job, because the calve area was so tight. I'm surprised more people haven't complained about the snugness in the calf area. --Some of the reason they're so horrible to zip is the nylon material underneath the zippered area. The zipper was ALWAYS getting stuck! And it's getting progressively worse to the point they barely zip up half way anymore :( --The shoelaces are so long it's ridiculously annoying. Overall, these are decent quality boots that will keep your feet warm (and dry from the snow, but not from puddles) for an affordable price. Purchase these with the faults in mind! I definitely wouldn't recommend these as being your only boot for the winter!
