I think this design is great for tango and line dance because the slight curve of the toe box on the bottom, where it meets the floor, means less sole is contacting the floor at any time, if that makes sense. Less strain on your joints for all those turns. Add ‘dance socks’ over the toe box to reduce floor friction also, and its even sweeter! These boots are SUPER cute in person, seem pretty well-constructed, have that 70s feel without being too on the nose. Wore them out for a night of bar hopping and they held up just fine. They run probably .5 to 1 size too big and are fairly wide too, I had to wear my partner's thick hiking socks to fill them out. I'll probably put insoles in them to fill the space and make them extra comfortable.

My job is business dress. I usually average about 8k steps a day in my work shoes. These shoes do not hurt, in fact they're the most comfy pair of heels I have. They look great with my slacks. True to size I wear a 7 or 7 1/2. I bought size 7 1/2. They fit perfect.
