I love these boots! Took them up to the snow for 5 days and I could not be happier. So warm and comfortable I could wear them all day long. Did 3 mile hikes each day in the snow plus sledding and my feet were never cold. One day I even put them on without socks and I was comfortable all day. I wear a size 10.5 wide, so I bought these in size 11. They fit perfect with normal socks. Super heavy socks would probably be too snug for me. They zip up the sides so it's easy to take them on and off. The front has laces so you can get the boots tied as tight as you like, then leave it as is and just use the zipper. Fuzziness throughout which makes these so comfy to wear all the time. I did slip maybe 3x on ice buried under the snow during the trip which caught me by surprise, but I didn't fall or anything. So may not be good if you're expecting lots of ice, but I can't imagine a lot of boots would be too good on ice anyhow. I read reviews where people sprayed theirs with a water repellent, but I didn't and my feel & ankles stayed perfectly dry all week. The "fur" still looks great after being in all that snow as well. Truly a great purchase on my part I must say ;)

I had been using Sorel Caribou boots, but their quality has gone way down over the years and since I was having to replace them so often anyway, I figured I might as well get cheaper ones that would likely last just as long and be just as warm. And these are extremely warm! I actually like these much better than the Sorels; the fake fur lining is very warm and comfortable and the zippers are such a convenience over having to lace and unlace. I haven’t even needed to use toe warmers with these, even at -25 temps. This was my first winter with these; I don’t know how long they are going to last but even if I have to replace them every year, I’ll still come out ahead over the Sorels. My only complaint is that it’s difficult to zip them up without the zipper getting stuck on the thin fabric behind them. I end up putting my finger behind the zipper head as I zip up, which helps a lot. The minor inconvenience is still better than having to use laces. So far they’ve been very waterproof in snow, slush, and the occasional puddle.

Ok so I wear a wide 10 regular shoe. I decided with a 10 and they are just right. Snug but not tight. They are warm due to fur all the way through. Not heavy which I was looking for. Im hoping they "break" in they are a little like I would say none soft I guess. When i take a step they kind of stay where they are not flex with my foot. But it could be because they are new. Nice colors. Looks more lile $60 to $80 boots that $40. Soft its 30 degrees our today they are still warm. A wool thin sock might be a little better. Very cute style. If you have really large lower calves I wouldn't recommend these. Mine are not small but not big and they just zip up. So far so good. I'll review in a month and tell you all how they are in snow. Update about a month: Pros Still really warm 20 degrees feet still toasty Still holding up with material nothing broken everything still works. Cute Cons: Moisture seems to set on the pads of upper feet, damp area on that part of the sole, unless I put my boots near the heater. Every time, so lack of ventilation im assuming. Not sure Zipper can get stuck if I'm not paying attention to what im doing Last these have still not really broken in. Still a bit awkward when taking steps my foot seems to lift in the back and the boot itself doesn't go with it if that makes sense. Still like them!

Sizing: I'm usually and 8-8.5 wide (almost double wide worthy) and I got a 9. Comfortable width with a room for cushy socks, but little too long, which I expect with my weird shaped feet. But I'm 100% used to that. The calf is super adjustable with the front laces but easy on/off with the zipper. Material/construction: super soft inside. Sturdy outside. Kept the water out during a rain/snow storm at a football game and while I shoveled later. I don't know how they'd do in a pond, but normal winter activities should be fine. We’ve gotten over 3 feet of snow this season, and the boots have been fantastic at keeping me warm and dry. Style: cute enough to wear with whatever, durable enough to wear in a true Midwest winter. Packaging: poor. Came folded over and smashed. Able to re-form, but not ready to go out of the box.

Bought these for an acquaintance and she loves them and raves about the comfort. She wears them at work and says they protect her feet and keep her from being sore at the end of the shift. They look great and I would highly recommend them for anyone.

I so regret buying these boots last year! First of all they run extremely small. Second, they’re impossible to walk in. It’s like having cement blocks on your feet. Its not because they’re necessarily heavy but they have no flexibility. There is no give whatsoever or flexibility in the soles. The foot bed is very stiff and it rubs against the back of your ankles to the point where you end up with blisters. Not to mention that the snow gets stuck in the treads and you’re basically sliding around on snow. They have no traction! Forget about trying to maneuver these over ice. I almost fell a few times in snow. Also they’re not even that warm. Took my son sledding and 20° temperatures for about an hour and my toes and the top 1/2 of my feet were completely numb, that was even with socks on! The only one upside is they look cute and if you have bigger calves they will fit. If you’re looking for some cute boots that don’t need to keep your feet warm and you won’t be walking in the snow, these may work for you. Just know I had to go up almost a size and a half for them to fit. Normally I am a 9 1/2 to a 10 and I had to buy an 11. I don’t even have very wide feet. I just ended up purchasing a new pair of boots tonight after only wearing these once this season because I can’t think about putting them on again. If you’ve ever seen that Friend’s episode with Monica‘s boots, these are them! Lol!
