I had an old pair of short black boots that were very worn on the bottom so I was looking for something to replace them at a low cost. I just can’t see paying a small fortune for every day boots. These were exactly what I was looking for. They are very comfortable and warm. I am an 8 to 8 1/2 and figured that with the thicker inside a 9 would be the best size. This was also the recommended size by Amazon so I went with a 9. It turns out it’s a perfect fit. I don’t think you can go wrong with these.

I got these boots on sale and bought them with great expectations, having had two pair of Dreampair bootie slippers in the past which both lasted a long time; so I can vouch for the overall quality of this brand. Unfortunately, these boots were smaller than I’d expected given my past experience with this brand. These ran a little short in the toe box and ran shorter on the right boot more so than the left, but that may have been due to my having broken my metatarsal on that foot in the past (meaning it was likely my foot and not the boot or due to a manufacturing issue). For a point of reference for others deciding whether to size up or not: I have long toes, my feet are narrow and I can generally wear either an 8.5 or 9, tho I typically buy size 9 in most shoes/boots to accommodate wool socks and occasionally insoles. That being said, I have never needed to size up as recommended on any of the three pairs of Uggs (slippers) I have, which all fit just fine out of the box. The Ugg Classic slippers are what I almost always wear and are well cushioned; which, I might add, is perhaps why the first thing I noticed when I put these boots on was the hard sole and lack of any cushion beneath the faux fur (which, btw, is very generous, plush and thick all around). Tho the size 9 would likely would have stretched out sufficiently if worn for a day or two, I figured that the lack of cushion would become an issue for me in the long term and I wouldn’t have room for insoles; so these are being returned. Because the quality and price is so good especially compared to other brands, I simply intended to size up and buy a shearling liner for more cushion, but they’re out in the larger size and preferred color, unfortunately. These boots are so soft and comfortable. They seem to run true to size, I didn’t notice any significant chemical smell when opening, the color looks exactly as pictured and are SO warm! My toes have appreciated these when it has been below 30degrees already!
