Perfect boots! I love these so much! Totally worth the price. The heel isn’t too much and these are so comfy. It’s a thin material, so your feet won’t sweat a lot. Very true to size! I first saw these Feb/March time-frame-ish while perusing Amazon for winter boots. I loved the look of them but then decided to hold off on purchasing since we were coming out of the cold season and placed them on my wish list. Sometime over the summer I pulled the trigger and bought them. They sat in their box under my bed until late fall....and thus we come to my review. For what you pay, these are amazing cute/work/going out winter boots!! Fit: I purchased an 8.5 (I am 8.5 in HOKA, Ariat, Life Stride, for reference). The 8.5s fit a tad loose BUT they work great with wool or thicker socks. My feet did slide a bit when wearing thinner wool socks, but anything medium weight or more keeps you in place and warm. I prefer medium to thicker socks in the winter anyways, so I was glad there was a little room in the boot to accommodate. Heel: I have plantar fasciitis, and while I have kept it under control the last few years, it can flare up if I wear flats. The heel on these is just enough that I can walk around all day/night with no pain. Grip: These aren't snow/ski boots obviously, but I had no issues on ice/shoveled snow in MA weather. I also wouldn't recommend hiking through deep snow, but they are fine for commuting. Warmth: THESE BOOTS ARE WARM. I take the train to work, and walk just over a mile each way to and from the office, and I did not feel cold at all in my toes even when the temps dropped to under 5 degrees. Granted, I invest in good socks, but these are definitely up to the challenge to keep your feet warm and dry. Bottom line, I love these boots and am kicking myself for not buying last year. I think they had a green version and I no longer see it, but I probably will be grabbing another pair in a different color.

I usually wear about an 8 or 8.5 and have to size up in boots, sometimes all the way to 10 (especially rain boots 😫) I took a chance and went with the recommended 8.5 on these and it is a perfect fit! They do look a bit puffy around my ankles, but I have small ankles so there's really no getting around that. They fit nicely over my calves, which aren't near as small. The material of the boots seems to be of good quality. It feels sturdy - thick without being bulky. They seem like they'll last a while. There's also a layer of soft fabric inside. It should keep the boots from rubbing against bare legs but I am a little concerned about it getting a bit warm over pants. They came laced almost all the way up so I just had to tighten them and finish the last few laces, which is only a one-time thing thanks to the zipper 😊. The zipper ran smoothly and feels like it's attached well. The heel is small but enough to give you a bit of that aesthetic and a tiny bit of height. The color is lovely. I wanted a black boot but went with the gray and like it more than I thought I would. The price is absolutely reasonable. Lower than I would expect for boots this nice. You really can't do much better.

I was looking for lace-up, combat-style boots that had the convenience of a zipper, just for kicking around in, running errands, shopping, etc. I usually wear Magnum or Ridge boots that I have had for several years (both size 7.5) that are regular lace up. They each fit a bit different and have trade-offs. The Dream Pairs are the most convenient to put on and take off. They fit well through the arch and the toe is comfortably. I found them a bit loose in the heels. Also, I have 13.5" calves and 9.5" ankles, making the shafts and ankles a bit loose on me. They may be fine for other people. My Magnums fit my feet better, but they were more expensive and must be laced each time. The Ridge boots have the best support, but are a bit tight on me. The Dream Pairs boots are taller than the other two and feel like they would be warmer in cold weather. Unlike the Magnum and Ridge boots, (which are considered duty boots where the Dream Pairs boots are fashion boots), the Dream Pairs boots are made to be worn with leggings or skinny pants inside the shafts and perhaps boot socks as well. The Dream Pairs boots were also far cheaper. Anyway, that's my opinion just after receiving my order. btw, the Dream Pairs boots came in a large bubble-wrap bag inside a plastic mailing pouch. There was no box. I was suspicious, but on examination, they were indeed brand new. The soles were completely clean, the tissue was still wrapping the buckles, the toes were stuffed with crumpled paper, and the boots were in their brand name inner bags. I found no blemishes on the faux leather or soles, and no wear on the laces. At present, I am satisfied with these boots. If anything changes after wearing them for a while, I will update. I should also mention that I ordered these boots late at night on Thursday, Dec. 30 and they arrived on Sunday, Jan 2, a day ahead of the delivery estimate. This was on the New Years Day weekend, so the Amazon Prime shipping was better than expected on this order during the holiday season.

I love how I only had to lace them once, then just use side-zippers to put them on, then take them off. Plus the fact you carried just my size of 5.5 USA.

I was prepared to be about as disappointed by these as I have been by other ~$20 shoes and boots on Amazon (by other brands) that feel like the heels will collapse if I take more than a few tip-toeing steps. However, these are actually INCREDIBLY comfortable, seem pretty sturdily made especially considering the price, and after a few cautious tries-on around the house I decided these felt like they bore my weight well enough to trust wearing for a day of a few small errands. I walked almost a mile and a half in these today, wearing them as they come, without the medical orthotics I've been prescribed for my messed up arches, and yet these felt really great to walk in, enough so that I didn't even notice that it added up to as much as it did. I also have incredibly sensitive tops of my feet, and I don't even have any soreness there after wearing these, which is very hard for me to find in a stiff and cozy-fit shoe like this, that isn't a padded skate shoe. I also got a compliment on them from a stranger (plus two from my own family if you count that), the very first day wearing them out! The inside lining is a fleece-y type fabric very similar to fleece-lined leggings, that is a bit much for me in anything over about 65 degrees, but I personally am very prone to overheating; they would probably be just about perfect for anyone who likes or needs a bit more warmth to their feet and lower part of the legs, or just as a good dry-cold weather shoe. I live in the PNW though so I will be giving these a good waterproofing spray treatment before wearing them out in wet weather, just to be safe. They do feel sturdy, but if you've found a $20 shoe that can truly withstand an accidental trod through a curb-depth puddle, you've slipped into an alternate dimension, and I don't want to use these to test which I might be in! I also want to emphasize that these are a very cozy fit. I did have the laces tied snug but the foot part itself was just perfect, not loose at all but I also never had any issues feeling cramped or pinched in them or having any spots that rubbed wrong, which anyone who shares my size or flat arches will know, is remarkably difficult especially in an 11. The fuzzy lining probably helps. Overall, the phrase "fits like a glove" couldn't be more accurate. To anyone who is looking to these for cosplay, I officially say go for it. I will most definitely be coming back for the brown ones in this same tall style for Katniss, as they are a PERFECT fit for hers, and when the short style is back in stock in my size, those in black for a slightly modified Chloe Price, too.

My daughter loves these knee high boots. My only sore spot with them is how fast the zipper, and the material around the zipper, wears down. We've only had these shoes a few months and I'm not sure they will make it through the winter. They are sized well. They are a nice fit. They just don't hold up as well as I would want from these shoes #The zipper is dead. It's only been 4 months.
