I ordered these to wear with a pair of pants for my birthday that were way too long, and these were perfect because of the platform. These were really cute and generally pretty comfortable, but the straps were a bit tight. Because of the straps, I did end up changing into sneakers at the end of the night, but they were better than a lot of heels I own! I ordered the iridescent color, which I probably won't wear again, so I'm looking for a way to wear them for Halloween (Lizzie McGuire, anyone?). ... show more

I absolutely loved these shoes for my bachelorette. They did eventually rub blisters, but to be fair I wore them on Bourbon street in NOLA all night. Other than the blisters, they didn’t hurt my actual feet at all. Such great quality for the price point and true to size.

Cute but after walking around my college campus while taking my senior pictures, the shoes had managed to rub the skin off the bottom of my second and third toes on both of my feet. Left blisters on the outsides of both of my feet. They looked great in photos, but probably not the best for walking long distances in. I was able to easily walk in the grass in these due to the chunky heel and the platform reducing how high the heel felt. ... show more

I was going to return these because the strap above the toes felt a little too tight. However, I ended up wearing them out for brunch and they were not bad at all. I was able to walk around downtown with no issue. The tightness that I felt did go away after walking around. I think it did loosen a little bit, which is great. The straps at the top seem a little weird and loose but I ended up strapping them higher above my ankle just so it wouldn’t look weird and scrunched at the bottom.     • Heels comfortable for 8+ hours, BUT....

I am 5'4, 155, I wore these heels consistantly for 8 hours at an event a few days ago and was standing the majority of the time. At first the strap was quite tight in the toes, and I actually felt my toes going a little numb. So I put my fingers between the strap and my toes and pulled up on the strap to stretch slightly and that made a huge difference overall. Do this! The ankle strap, conversely, was too loose. I wish I could have punched an additional hole in the ankle strap to make it tighter, but I wasn't home and didn't have tools to do so or to improvise. The shoes became more comfortable as the night went on. Which is the opposite effect to what I've experienced in the past with any other heels. So it was a nice surprise! I felt sturdy in the ankle over all, never experienced the "baby giraffe off-balance" feel! BUTTTTT the first issue appeared at about 1 hour in: - the high heel part itself actually felt weak and like it could snap. When I was standing "normally" (slightly leaned forward on balls of feet) they felt fine, but when I switched my weight back and leaned on the high heel part I could literally feel the heel bow/bed away from the outsole/shank part that connects the heel to the shoe/ foot...which made me think all night long, wow, one wrong move and my heel is going to snap off. It didn't happen after 8 hours in them, but still made me nervous all night long because I've never had shoes that felt like they could snap off. 2nd problem: I have average to high arches. The arch of the shoe's insole is SO low/flat that when putting my foot in the shoe, only the ball of my foot and my heel were touching the shoe. My arch and center of my foot were literally hovering in the shoe. Putting unnecessary strain and pressure on those 2 parts of my foot. To fix this slightly, I put in high arch inserts from Amazon, to close the gap between my center foot and the insole, and it did help a bit. I wish I could have put a double thick insert because I did feel slight gapping still, but overall the insert did the trick and made the shoes functional. If you have high arches or even normal arches I recommend a high arch insert for this shoe to better support your foot. All in all, I would buy again, and recommend to a friend. ... show more
