Tried them on and way too right around the toes and big toe joint. Not comfortable especially if you have wide feet. Unfortunately had to return.

    • Too tight toe strap, too loose ankle strap.
Very very cute shoes and fit well in length. I vary between 5.5 and 6.5 depending on styles and brands and got a 6 in these. While it fit my foot length and width size (I would say I have a wider/flatter foot which is sometimes accommodated by sizing half size up), the strap over the toes was very tight and the ankle strap was very loose and even when on smallest clasp, the straps rubbed which will eventually cause irritation. Ultimately I returned as sizing up would likely make the ankle strap situation worse. It’s perhaps the straps were too wide around the back of the heel of the shoe? And I do not consider myself to have skinny ankles for this to be the reason. I have hard feet to fit but style and structure of the shoe seem well made- just not sure if my ankle and toes were outliers on the ill fitting straps. It’s a you need to try on for yourself kind of shoe. My search continues for an affordable neutral espadrille! ... show more
