I ordered the women’s lug sole combat boots in black by Dream Pairs. I wear an 8.5 in shoes and these fit perfectly. My toes have ample space in all directions. I can feel the upper part of the shoe (near the start of the laces) with my upper foot at all times but this is not uncomfortable, just feels snug (see picture for location). I feel steady walking on these lug heels, even though I have little experience wearing shoes like this. The PU upper material is not overly obvious that it is not leather just by looking at it. It’s not too shiny or matte, making it look very realistic as leather. The side zipper makes for putting on these shoes easy. I didn’t have to work hard to put my foot in and the zipper worked smoothly. There is a loop near your calf that helps you to pull the boot to put your foot in and that is strongly attached and very useful. It’s not just a decoration! The laces are a round canvas material and seem like the perfect length. I have worn these for several hours at a time, and never felt uncomfortable. These shoes are so versatile and will look great with pants and skirts alike! My 13 year old daughter wants to borrow them too! Highly recommended! ... show more

These boots are everything!! They take me back to my 90’s grunge days but are maybe a bit more stylish. I love the thick, raised heel. The material is soft and comfortable to wear. The boots are sturdy and and are of a great quality. I really REALLY appreciate the zipper. It makes the boots easy to get on and off. (Not like the “old” days when you had to loosen a bunch of laces to do so. Ha!) I’ve worn my Dreampairs boots with both jeans and a black & white plaid skirt/tights. They look fantastic in both situations! They’re combat boots…. But elevated. I am absolutely, positively in LOVE. So much so that I am ordering the beige pair as soon as I finish this review. These boots are so cute and high quality! Tried them on and they fit perfectly and are VERY comfortable! They were exactly as pictured and described in the listing… I love the beige color I got and may go back and order the same pair in black at some point. This brand is one of my new favorites for shoes! They have excellent quality shoes at a much more affordable price then you can find elsewhere! It’s a win all the way around.
