I was told to half size up to make sure the boots fit my calves, but the sizing up actually made the boots slightly too big around the heel and toe area so they slip up and down a bit when I walk. But other than that, these boots are super cute, comfortable, and good for styling with any outfit. I also bought lace trim socks to go with them so the lace would peak out of the boots and it looks perfect. ... show more

    • No Need to Size Up. Super Cute, Very Comfortable and Just as Pictured!
I really, really love these boots!! I ordered a half size up in anticipation of them being too tight on my calves, and as it turns out, I did NOT need to do that. They're not so big they look like clown shoes, they still fit nicely, but I definitely could've ordered my true-to-size size. They are pretty much exactly as pictured/described. They are perhaps slightly more matte in color, which I appreciate. (Although these could be very cool in super shiny patent leather!) I have a little of the gapping others talked about in the right boot, but it's not that bad; it adds character. It seems like it would be easy enough to loosely stitch shut, or I considered using a really big, almost decorative type safety pin to close it, but I'm pretty sure I'll just leave it the way it is. These are an excellent value at the current price point (less than 30). They seem durable but I haven't given them a true "go" yet- I'm pretty sure they're gonna hold up to daily wear and if they fail sooner than later, I didn't have to break the bank to get 'em. SUCH A STEAL! These fit so good, they were also super comfortable and stylish. (I wore them to a concert + Gov Ball) The material is leather looking, but they aren't too stiff which made them amazing for walking. The zipper snags sometimes, but it doesn't really effect how I feel about these boots.
