Definitely not for anything where you want to be dressing up. These are much more for going out into nature, going riding, any athletic activities like that where you're going to want to prioritize functionality over aesthetic. The easy-on easy-off opening to the boot definitely attests to that, too, since they slip right off or slide on easily over jeans or other types of pants. Which is obviously good for being outside since you're going to want your entire leg covered. So I recommend them for someone looking for a little more activewear boot. If you're looking for a chic, sleek, stylish boot, I'd keep looking.

I ordered my usual size in these boots, and they fit perfectly. At first I wasn't sure about the squared off toe, it feels a little bulky or wide. But it is so comfortable not to have my toes squished into a boot. The heel is small, basically a flat boot, and it's just the right width. The calf fits well, again a slightly boxy shape like the pics. These aren't a sleek style boot, they have a bit more of a funky casual riding boot vibe. I'm so excited for these in the fall with skirts and tights.

These are somewhat comfortable but hard to put on and take off because of how they run small in size and depth. Perhaps if you are super flat arched or get an entire size up, these might work for you. It's disappointing because they're really nice looking boots and are otherwise well made.

I want to love these boots, I really do. They look incredible! The leather is soft and the fit is comfy. But actually wearing them is a nightmare. I've never experienced a shoe before that has NEGATIVE arch support, with the insole going down right where you'd want it to come up into your arch. Plus the leather at the top where the split is isn't connected and instead just has a small tab of fabric that can flip out, taking away from that incredible look I mentioned earlier. I'm not sure that even insoles can fix the arch problem. I'd say these would be great for costume boots, but you'd have to not be walking anywhere, and they're pretty expensive for just taking pictures! Wish these would have lived up to my imagination...

Fit perfectly. Even in my wide calf area was a bit snug there at first, but the buckles on the opposite side do adjust and gave me that extra bit of room I needed. . Very comfortable with a non slip sole. Probably should have sized up so I can wear them w thicker socks in the winter but they will do
