My daughter has to wear two pairs of socks with these because they are a little big in the heel, but not so much that we could size down. she also isn't used to wearing a boot. They are cute and she dresses them up and down.

I live with plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. I also have fibromyalgia. In addition to, these inflammation health conditions, I value fashion and feeling pretty, empowered and confident in myself when I get dressed. I have purchased shoes from Vionic, the Brooks Addiction line, and other common highly expensive brand companies/shoe lines. Including inserts from powerstep and other high priced orthotics. The reality is unless your tax bracket is in the elite 1% buying shoes and inserts that help you not only walk in good health but walk with confidence is very costly. And many times your self esteem takes the hit because those expensive orthotics can be quite damaging to self esteem. These boots were difficult for me to squeeze into at first because my feet are small, flat and wide. I wear a size 6W. But the boots allow for stretching. I added a pair of plantar fasciitis orthotics and it helped give me the total motion control support I need. Good shoes often hurt first and then adapt over time. Where as shoes that fit comfortably first eventually hurt over time and as my maternal grandmother use to say, "when your feet hurt, your soul hurts." So these shoes not only helped my feet feel good but my soul feel good too. I only wear them for short periods of time for date nights, church or a Queens day out with friends. I have to have much more supportive shoes for long work days or busy wife life activities

These are really great shoes so far! Can’t comment on how long they last yet, but I wore them on a long shopping trip and they didn’t hurt my feet at all, which is saying something for new shoes! They’re thicker than I thought they’d be, which makes me think they’ll last a while. The material is soft and they look like good quality. The ankle goes up a little higher than other booties but I like that about them. I’m 5”2, so I think on someone taller that might not apply. I have wide feet, so it’s pretty hard to get these on since there’s no zipper, but I’m hoping they’ll stretch a bit with time and that will get easier. Once they’re on, they fit great - not too tight. I’m a size 8 but ordered a size 8.5 for these and I really like the fit. I only have to complaints about these: 1) There is almost no traction on the soles, so they’re very slippery on a non-carpeted floor and I can imagine they’d be very unsafe on ice. 2) they scuff pretty easily - I wore them once and there’s already a pretty big scuff on the inner side of the heel on one shoe. To be fair, I’m a bit of a klutz and often scuff my shoes in that area by accidentally hitting one foot with the other, so the scuff would happen eventually anyway, but it’s a little frustrating that it happened so fast! Doesn’t show much, though, and is to be expected with the suede material. I recommend these boots!

Very tough for me to find a dark gray bootie this year. The color was spot on and they are comfortable right out of the box. I don't anticipate these being wet weather or snow boots, but more for fashion. I stand on my feet a lot and I was worried about these being stiff or clunky, which is not the case. I ordered a 7 as I'm between a 6.5 and 7 in most shoes. They are good to go with a thicker sock. I am very impressed. They came quickly. I like that they are a little dressier than a lug sole but not combat style. I could wear with a skirt or pants/jeans as they are versatile. The elastic on both sides made them easier to get on than I thought when I took them out of the box (there are no side zippers). I love that they are overall slim. I have skinny ankles and these are comfortable and stay on as the elastic has a nice give to it. I finally found my gray boots for a great price!
