These boots are great for the money. I don't like a lot of the men's combat boots so took a chance on these because they look very unisex and not girly. I normally wear US 8.5 men's in sneakers and have a little room to spare, so ordered these in US 10 women's and the fit was perfect. I wore these on long walks right out of the box and they didn't cause me any problems. I'm also not very tall so the extra height from the thick lug sole was a bonus. Once the laces are adjusted and tied up, the zipper made taking them on and off super easy. For the money they are unbeatable and if I get decent amount of wear out of them before they break, I'll probably buy them again.

I don’t usually write reviews for stuff but I felt like I definitely needed to for these shoes. I bought them to replace an old pair of combat boots I wore all the time. I was a little skeptical because I saw a fair amount of reviews that said these shoes weren’t good for daily wear but they have been absolutely amazing for me so far! There was just recently a huge snowstorm at my college and I forgot to bring my snow boots from home, so I decided to try these shoes out. Not only did they work just as well as actual snow boots (very stable and slip resistant), my feet never got cold when I was outside, walking through about a foot of snow. They haven’t been damaged by any melted snow or salt from the ground and haven’t worn at all after daily use for almost two weeks. Also, they are very lightweight for combat boots, which makes it easier to wear them for longer periods of time. If you are considering getting these shoes, do it!! They are very good quality and at a reasonable price!

These are good for the price. They’re not super heavy and lace up nicely. As for fit, plan on sizing up. I wound up a size larger but could size up a half size more. I’m a 9 and could do a 10 1/2 in these. The overall width of the boot is okay. I decided not to do another 1/2 size because I was worried there would be too much room in the toe. The style is great. I also added some bootstraps to punk them up a bit. Not planning on wearing these in snow as they’re not waterproof. Wear them to just add an element of goth/punk/alt style to your wardrobe and wear them off and on. They’ll last longer. They don’t do well for extended periods in the elements.

Love these boots! And I scored an amazing deal for $20!! They are super comfy and look amazing with jeans as well as slacks. I typically wear 8.5 and the 8.5 fits perfectly! My only recommendation is to make sure you wear high socks with these.

I originally bought these in a size 9, which is my usual boot size, because I didn't realize that they were a narrow fit. They fit well enough for say, pictures, the movies, dinner, etc. But I wouldn't have been able to do any walking as they were a tighter fit. I sized up to a 10 because I needed to be able to wear them all day comfortably, and they were almost perfect! The sides fit more comfortably, and when I tightened the laces up the extra space at the toe of the boot was fine. The only downside was that because there was extra space the backs of the boots creased a bit, digging into my heels a little the longer I wore them. Nothing horrible of course, more of an irritating feeling. I wore them all day Saturday/Sunday at a renaissance faire and couldn't be happier! They also seem very sturdy for the price, and I'm very excited to have a new pair of boots that are both fun for events but also practical.

Breaking these in definitely hurt, and they are my size. The sole didn’t hold up, after a few weeks the sole insert started disintegrating around the toes, and whatever paper they have in there under the sole didn’t last either. Had to put different inserts to wear them. However, they look cool, I love the shape, but they’re for short term ware and don’t hold up to daily use.

The boots are true to size the color is shiny. I wear size 9 and I purchased a size 9 and they fit very well. to price these in the retail store you would pay much more. I hope they hold up.
