I have worn these boots almost every day for over a year now. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the 9.5 fit me well, as I'm generally a 9 or 9.5 wide (and tend to size up to 10s). They have enough room for thicker socks in the wintertime without feeling like clown shoes with thinner socks during warmer weather. The side zipper makes them easy to put on and take off, and the laces are functional so you can adjust the fit as you like. After a year of wear, there's minor scuffing on the toes and the lining in one of them tends to try to escape when I take the boot off, in addition to expected wear on the soles of the boots, but otherwise they're holding up very well! They're not very comfortable when standing for long periods, e.g. at concerts, so could likely benefit from insoles or similar, but they are lightweight enough that walking around town isn't a problem. Overall, I would recommend these as an affordable fashion boot. ... show more

I got these for a concert, but the first time I wore them, I barely had them on for 4-5 hours, and when I got home the sole of the right boot had split. I saw some reviews saying theirs fell apart after several months of wear, so I was a little disappointed that that happened to me, and that it happened so early on. Even though they were falling apart they were still pretty comfortable. My feet didn’t hurt at all after the concert, even though I was standing almost the entire time, and the boots themselves didn’t require any breaking in. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt based on the comfort and the other reviews, so I’m going to just hope I got a defective pair and leave it at that. That being said, in the future I would probably buy these again, if needed, and hope another pair would be more sturdy! UPDATE: The company reached out and offered to replace the damaged pair. I rejected the offer only because I don’t have any use for the shoes in the future, but I thought it was very nice that they tried to make this right, which is also why I am increasing my rating. I originally bought these in a size 9, which is my usual boot size, because I didn't realize that they were a narrow fit. They fit well enough for say, pictures, the movies, dinner, etc. But I wouldn't have been able to do any walking as they were a tighter fit. I sized up to a 10 because I needed to be able to wear them all day comfortably, and they were almost perfect! The sides fit more comfortably, and when I tightened the laces up the extra space at the toe of the boot was fine. The only downside was that because there was extra space the backs of the boots creased a bit, digging into my heels a little the longer I wore them. Nothing horrible of course, more of an irritating feeling. I wore them all day Saturday/Sunday at a renaissance faire and couldn't be happier! They also seem very sturdy for the price, and I'm very excited to have a new pair of boots that are both fun for events but also practical. ... show more
