O.M.G. They are so sexy! The heel is a little higher than I'd usually wear, but it'll only make my hips sway more. By "higher than I usually wear," I mean I don't wear heels at all anymore. They're really comfortable. I ordered my normal size instead of half a size larger to accomodate my Dr Scholl's insoles that I did that foot mapping thing with at Walmart. They're not quite as cushy as the reviews lead me to believe, so I stuck the insoles through the side zipper & they fit perfectly & made it feel much more comfortable. Not cramped at all. The boot is a suede-like material & is super soft & not too structured. I can see how you can make it slouchy or fold it over to make it a short boot. I can't wait to wear these out. They'll dress up jeans or leggings & look fabulous with a short pencil skirt. I have normal to skinny calves but the unstructured nature of the boot didn't make them look bad at all. If your feet are a little wide like mine where shoes fit but dress shoes, heels don't, these boots are for you! There is surprisingly room to wiggle in the toe and arch area! These are great!!

These are beautiful boots. Go up to the knee and are wide at the calf so it should fit most. True to size. I wear 8 or 8 1/2 depending on the fit. I did not get the wide even though sometimes I need it when I get a size 8. Took a chance based on other reviews and I'm glad I didn't or otherwise I would have had to wear thick socks to prevent from slipping out. Good price and nice fit. ... show more

I got these boots to wear with some dresses and skirts, to keep my legs warm in cold weather. They are a sleek classy style without the adornments of buckles and such. They are dressy enough for church and other dressed up events. I wouldn’t wear them all day though. I wear size 8.5, which was true to size for the most part, but I probably should have gone with wide width with these boots because there is a little bit of a rub on the widest part of my feet. Maybe they need breaking in. The heel height is good, not too tall. The tread is good, I don’t feel like I’ll slip on slick floors. I’m 5’4” and the boots were a little too tall up my calf, as it came up onto my knee, but it was easy to fold down the top an inch because the material is malleable. It doesn’t look bad with the fold down top, and it will be covered by my dress anyway. I will definitely be wearing nylons with these boots because my legs got sweaty and boots were hard to remove, kind of like getting out of a wet swimming suit! Also, I put some sole cushions in the boots and that made them more comfortable. Not sure on durability and how the material will hold up, but it’s not the stiff plastic feel. The zipper doesn’t go all the way up, not sure why they made the short zipper. I just slid my feet into the boots without using the zipper. What is the purpose of the short zipper anyway? I like the boots, they’ll be cute with the dresses. Maybe I should have some moleskin on hand in case a blister forms. One less star for that, and how sweaty my bare legs got from just trying on the boots for a few minutes. Those 2 things can be remedied so not a deal breaker. Also, I needed to fold down the top and add cushions. So 4 things to remedy actually. Will they work for you? You should just try them out for yourself and don’t let my experience dissuade you, if that’s what’s happening! I do like them for the style and purpose. ... show more

These are so cute and so comfortable! The suede is really soft, the style is classic knee high, it fits my wide calves with a bit of wiggle room. They’re easy to get on or off, and the zipper blends in well with the boot as a whole. It seems to be very durable, although I need to scratch the bottoms up a bit for more traction as on some surfaces it’s rather slick, but otherwise I am obsessed and will be wearing them all fall and winter! ... show more

I love these boots! They are so comfortable, I bartend in them and my feet don’t hurt , as long as I wear medium thick socks. Size is perfect. I also like the tops aren’t too big because of my thin legs.
