This is my second pair of these boots. First pair was black, and they were so comfortable I had to buy the brown. I love a boot with a heel, and this heel is perfect. Not too chunky to look too casual but not too casual to not look neat. I can wear them with just about anything and always look the right amount of put together. The boot itself is a good height and does not dig into my shin when I take a step which some ankle boots do and these do not. The color is true to the photo description as well. Foot bed has good support without feeling tight and my toes have plenty of room. I can walk all day in them and my feet do not hurt at all which is a big thing for any shoe with a heel. Bottom is non skid and not at all slippery even walking from outside if it is wet to a floor inside, no worries about slipping. The functional zipper to open the boot is on the inside, and the outside zipper that shows is decorative only and gives the boot a little something extra that I like and its a really nice touch and a hint of pizazz overall I really like them which is why they are my second pair!

4 Stars for the overall. Very comfortable for the height of the heel. The ankle fit is loose so kind of more on the casual side while I'd prefer a more sleek look - you can kind of tell with a boot cut pair of pants but barely. I don't care for the double zippers -- one on the outside which is silver and not functional, the other inside (inner) is black metal and zips. I know the zippers not matching is petty but I didn't notice this when purchasing and honestly might return just because I find it so odd looking that they do not match at all! Otherwise a decent shoe, I haven't worn for my commute yet just tried them on in the house so I'm not sure about all-day comfort potential. Thick socks are a must for these, if you plan to wear thin ankle socks your feet will for sure slide around. The fit is true to size. Aside from the mismatched zippers I think these are great boots and very versatile, you can get away with them in the office and of course pair them with jeans.

After going over lots of reviews, I finally settled on these and I'm I did! I totally love these boots! I've only worn them once, but they felt good! I'm a size 7 on flats, but on boots I usually get 7.5 or 8 depending on the model or to have ample toe and sock space. These fit as expected. I love the heel compared to other ones I saw. I love the zippers, even though one is just for the style. I like how symmetrical, smooth and stylish the look is. I hadn't worn chunky heels or any heels at all in over two years due to a broken ankle injury that resulted in surgery and hardware -- plates and screws. So, it was important for me to research and find the right shoe for my foot! Well, these do not rub against the sides of my ankle to cause any friction or tension. They feel just right. On the other hand, since I haven't worn heels in a quite a while, I do start to walk funny the first few minutes I walk on them, but that's just me due to my injury. I'm hoping to regain more control of my ankles as I wear these cute boots for short work meetings. I totally recommend them. And while I was looking at other models of the same brand, I also bought the mid-calf boots. Those are so cute as well! The only difference is that those other ones do have a snug fit, like more narrow. But these were just the right size, the right model, the right fit, and exactly what I was looking for. Hopefully they last, as they are a bargain for the price!

Cute boot visually, but there is no cushion at the ball of the foot area. The first few hours is no problem but but the end of the day I was in so much pain. I’ll try some inserts to see if that helps. I was expecting so much more from this brand.
