I am a 40 yr old lady, who lives in the upper Midwest, and works at an elementary school and has to be out in extreme weather way more than I want to be (think parent drop off, multiple recesses, parent pick up, etc). These boots are comfortable, warm, and waterproof. I have been outside in these boots in real feel -15 with normal socks (not extra wooly or double layered) and my toes were not numb when I went back inside (not that most people are sending their kids out to play in that sort of cold, but good to know nontheless). I have to trudge through the snow quite a bit at recesses: there's never any wetness seeping in to my socks. Additionally, these are cute and stylish. They do not seem especially heavy, so that's a plus: wearer won't feel like they have bricks strapped to their feet! I expect these to last for years, so if you're buying them for your growing child, you ought to be able to save them as a hand me down for someone else!

Sturdy rubber outside. The color is spot on. Happily surprised by the warm fuzzy interior. Wasn’t expecting that but it makes the boots that much more comfortable to wear, and that much warmer. I didn’t realize what the zipper on the side of the boot was for. It expands the boot out a couple more inches. Works fantastic for layering warm clothes. Also makes these boots a great choice for more people because it fits more than people with skinny legs. Zipper makes the boot adjustable for so many! Great product and amazing quality.

I ordered a larger size as with full lining sometimes can make them tight so these did allow room as were larger but are nice looking, warm and durable.

These fit my son well, very warm and they do keep the snow out, definitely waterproof. He loves how they look. 4 stars because the zippers are really hard to pull up. They get stuck even though there is nothing they are getting stuck on. They just don't work well. I have to help him zip the boots but otherwise they are great.
