Dreampairs buckle riding boot: I am 99% sure these are synthetic boots, not leather. Oddly there is no material description where size and origin (China) is printed inside the zipper flap. Nonetheless, at a $55 price point, they are worth that. The shank is made with hearty material, slightly padded, and should not slouch over time. Material is a leather-textured satin finish. The one-piece rubber sole is a comfortable heel height and gives decent walking traction. They are definitely M width (I have narrow feet) and accurate length. I ordered 1/2 size bigger for sock allowance, but really didn't need it. Looking forward to wearing these boots with skirts. ... show more

Despite SEVERAL photos showing these had wide calves, They did not fit my average to large sized calf. I should have realized this when the description did not say "wide calf", but I believed the photos. Never again. Darn, they were so cute!
