Just the ticket!!! In trying to keep our pups Chachi & Luigi off of their human's bed, we were about out of ideas... until this wonderful little toddler bed came to mind. Perfect size for yes a toddler, but just as perfect for our two smallish and totally spoiled fur babies. It took a minute for them to adjust to a new sleeping arrangement and to understand they didn't need their old beds in there with them but after a day of recognizing the bed's comfort and extra room, they settled into a great nights sleep and lazied around all morning in their newly found comfort zone!!! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because you can’t use a drill. I hated that I had to use an Allen key and screw everything by hand it was so exhausting. Other than that, the bed is just fine. It’s pretty simple to set up, but I would definitely recommend having two people. It took me forever to do it by myself. The paper instructions were easy to read and follow. Everything looks nice. I love the color, and it’s perfect for my toddler. He sleeps really well in his new bed. ... show more

We ordered this bed a month ago since our two year old is beginning to climb out of his crib. When it arrived in the box (factory box) it looked like it had some fork lift holes poked in it. None of the holes where to big and didn’t look like the contents would be damaged. When we opened the box last night we found that out to be not true. At first we didn’t see the little strip of wood that had been broken off until unpackaging all the contents. It was left in some of the packaging paper. You can see in the picture that blunt force causes the back piece to pop out snapping the wood. Luckily this was on the back side that faces the wall so I don’t have to worry about my two year old playing with the splintered wood. I got out some wood glue and a clamp and glued it back together after popping the vertical slats back in place. The bed seems like a 100 dollar bed....nothing more...nothing less. If I didn’t cut the box in two pieces to remove the contents and already take apart his old crib I would’ve returned it to amazon and asked for a different one. If you order this be careful of the look of the package before opening. The wood is pretty flimsy. ... show more

The front handguard was missing holes, but the company swiftly sent out replacements! They stand behind their product. Good quality overall. Very strong wood, I don't let my lo jump on it, but it would take it. DOM is the best company out there.

    • Bed good but a process

So, the first shipment was damaged and the bolts were incorrect. I reached out to the dream on me customer support and they said they could send the correct hardware. I was a bit skeptical it would be so easy and I was correct. The bed requires 3 different size bolts. Dream on me sent one size bolt. Furthermore, they sent silver bolts but the hardware for this bed is dark bronze. So even if it I had some of the correct hardware initially it wouldn’t have matched what I needed. So, I initiated a return on Amazon and ordered the the same bed as a replacement hoping for the best. The second bed came undamaged and had the correct hardware. Yay! My son loves his bed. Word of advice: DO NOT USE DREAM ON ME CUSTOMER SERVICE. They seem helpful but they won’t actually help and will only waste your time as you wait longer. So three stars for the first bed being damaged with the wrong hardware. It’s a lot to repackage and send back. If I had received the second bed the first time I would have given five stars.
