This toddler bed was perfect for my 2 year old son. The assembly was easy and the color was very cute and neutral. The wood did not have any dings or scratches and all the pieces were there. I would give a 3 1/2 if that was available. I bought this bed for my 3 year old granddaughter. One of the middle legs was cracked .You can tell it was cracked before it was painted. As You can see in photos it was painted over the crack. Photos are of the same leg just different angles. 2 slats were warped but not enough to make the bed uncomfortable. I will update this review if bed will not support my granddaughter. ... show more

The installment of the metal plate was difficult. They require you to use the "selfdrilling screw" provided. However, since there aren't any pre-drilled holes in place, the screws would wobble. Additionally, because nothing was screwed in, the D and E boards were difficult to line up while screwing in the selfdrilling screw.
