It works perfectly once you remove the tree of life from the center so that it does not get cast out to where the bad spirits go. The tree of life works fine once it is removed because it was never evil and the dream catcher thinks that it is by being in the center. The AWLEE Dream Catchers Handmade Feather Native Home Wall Decoration Blue is a highly recommended companion to this one because the two were meant to work together to cast bad spirits away but not the tree of life because it never was evil. Until the tree of life is removed from the center, it makes a terrible gift. If you want to make this a perfect gift, then remove the tree of life from the center and then buy the blue AWLEE dream catcher mentioned above.
