My boyfriend and I go fishing a lot, but not often enough to need any crazy sort of net. This has done very well for catching bait in calm waters. However, it did rip the other day after casting it into a simple little lake which is concerning...there’s a repair kit, but in my opinion, it shouldn’t need repairing after the 4th use. I wouldn’t recommend for an everyday fisherman, but for occasional bait catching it does ok for the price. Also, be aware, it is pretty heavy….so maybe just opt for something less heavy for simple use or something more durable for everyday use rather than this one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have wanted one of these for some time. It is very well made, easy to throw, and effective. The video I included is literally the second cast. I’m wondering if smaller holes would be better, because many of the minnows I netted were stuck like in a gill net. Not a deal breaker by any means, but the smallest holes may be best for catching bait. It’s a total blast! Buy one!!! ... show more
