  • Best of its class!
Color: Monofilament lines Size: 6FT (180cm) Radius
I have used cast nets for 40 years. This is the easiest to use of any. The first cast it opened fully and caught a load of bait.

  • Pay attention to the weights
Color: Tire lines Size: 4FT (120cm) Radius
I love this cast net it's great, the title about the weights is to let you know that you should trim extra plastic off of the coating on the weights, because they do cause tangles, it's really not a big deal once you look at the weights you'll understand.

  • Trash Trash!!!!
Color: Tire lines Size: 4FT (120cm) Radius
Ugh been using a throw net for 40 yrs this had such potential but its nothing but junk the netting is to heavy and the weights arent heavy enough so its out of balance the POS does nothing but get tangled up every damn time you throw it…. Its nothing but a cuss fest SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR STRESS LEVEL TRUST ME!!!!! UPDATE: Although the product was unsatisfactory i must commend the company for reaching out to me… they in fact gave me a total refund without me even asking and were very apologetic so I will give em credit for superb customer service ... show more

  • Durable, quality value
Color: Tire lines Size: 4FT (120cm) Radius
The 1/4 inch recycled tire, 4.5 ft net has been durable and easy to cast. The rope was too long, for what I need, so I shortened it. I'm happy with the value.

  • Amazing!
Color: Tire lines Size: 4FT (120cm) Radius
I personally prefer this over a monofilament net! When hung on a rock and pulled loose, it doesn’t rip out a 14” hole like others will. It pulls one single cord loose and it’s easily patchable with the included repair kit. 10/10 recommend.

  • Quality Control Suspect
Color: Monofilament lines Size: 6FT (180cm) Radius
The river I fish has an annual gizzard shad run. It lasts only a week before they move on. They stack up at the edge of the dam giving us the rare opportunity to net primo catfish bait from the bank. Those of us that bank and kayak fish try to load up on shad to freeze for late Spring, Summer, and Fall. On the first day of the run I destroyed my other net almost beyond repair on a submerged branch. With only 5 or 6 days left for this year's run, I ordered this inexpensive net with the hopes it would arrive quickly (it did) and could soak it and then put it to use, losing only one day of the run. I was very disappointed that rght out of the box the rope was fraying 12" from the wrist strap. Very few strands were still intact. With the depth and current I would be throwing it there's no way it would last for a single cast let alone if it were loaded down with fish. Additionally, the main rope is very thin, perhaps 1/4" to 3/8" thick. This would be difficult to grip, cut into my hands thus requiring me to wear gloves since I make dozens of casts each day, and make closing it difficult so much of my catch would escape. The wrist strap was also poorly attached/sewn to the rope. I can see now why others lost their nets after only a few casts (someone else said it broke off on the first cast). I didn't give the net ( 6' monofilament) a complete inspection, but I could see that many of the braille lines were not cut close to the lead line, which would cause it to likely snag easily. Of the 5 lines I inspected, 3 of the knots were not pulled tightly. The quality control on this particular net I received was nonexistent. Regretfully itvs gone back in the box to return. The repair tool and line was not included as advertised. Not that this is a big deal just another reason to suspect the quality Control of the manufacturer. With all considered, I won't be exchanging this for another. Instead I'm returning the cast net and have already ordered another brand. I'm peeved that by the time this other cast net arrives and I soak/prepare that net for use, the 2022 shad run will be over. It seems that one out of four items my family have purchased in the last couple of years has required a return. We enjoy the ease and convenience but with what we pay for a Prime membership now, after yet another price increase, I think Amazon should put more effort into assuring that the products advertised and delivered (so quickly) are of better quality and arrive as described. ... show more

Great salwater or freshwater net. High quality material. Better option than mono nets.

  • works like a charm... until the mono knots come loose (*update*)
Color: Tire lines Size: 4FT (120cm) Radius
UPDATE: after investigating a mono knot simply came loose. All of the knots were not tightened. I'm certain this was simply a rare "quality control" miss. I tightened all the knots myself and it feels very secure now. Works great and cannot beat this net for the price. Changing 2 stars up to 4. This was working great, then I saw a loose monofilament (think there's 8 - 10?) after only about 10 practice throws into my pool. Well, one bad mono line I thought, it still "closes"... then another cast and another came loose. This could be just "a bad one" but I checked the other mono knots and they are also coming loose. Poor craftsmanship or poor quality control... not sure. I can fix this because I have small pliers and a crimping set. I'm leaving for vacation in a couple days or I would return this. ... show more
