    • Sweet, woody, novel scent!
Though I never knew the scent of which this was a flanker of, when I tested Drakkar Noir at a store, I could definitely say I like Intense better. Some would say it's a modern take on that one, but I don't think I want to think of Drakkar Intense that way. It feels like a brand new scent, very distinguishable from other common perfumes. It's definitely an adult cologne but not an old man's cologne - like best for a 25-50yo. I would describe this as an overall sweet, woody, and spicy scent. The clary sage and vanilla mix well with the common and well-received bergamot and patchouli to create its own signature mark. This was a blind buy for me; I was looking for something with cinnamon and vanilla-like notes and this did not disappoint. I can't say so much about the sillage yet but it has average longevity and I can smell it on myself for a few hours though the intensity drops rather quickly. The opening smell isn't that different from the drydown. This could be both an office cologne or a socialization one. Versatile, moderate power, and not to disruptive. This is one of those manly and classic fragrances you would wear for a casual event, for the gym or just for going outside during the day. It's strong and a bit sweet, and smells great during the day in a hot weather (just watch the sprays), but still would bring you compliments if you wear it at night for a casual event. ... show more

I had a boyfriend about 25 years ago and that’s the perfume he used and I loved it on him I that’s one of reason I lasted with him no matter what time or what day we met he always smelled good, the perfume lasted a long time, it’s a soft smell and somewhat sweet but very manly. I just bought it for a friend of mine that leaves in another country and I am bringing it to him as a gift since I’m traveling to meet him and he’s wife and family I hope his wife falls even more in love with him as he uses this awesome perfume I recommend it 100% ... show more

This stuff is nuclear for the first hour, strong during the second hour, moderate during the third hour, and reduced to a skin scent by the 4th hour. Fantastic fragrance with horrible performance. At least it's cheap. If you plan on enjoying this fragrance all day and into the evening, you better plan on re-applying it two more times. Make sure you spray your hair and clothing, because it will disappear quickly if you just spray it on skin. ... show more
