Children enjoy it. Question 1. Why doesn’t the credit card make a noise when swiped? Question 2. There is a counterfeit marker enclosed, but it leaves permanent marks on the bill. What’s the purpose?

It’s a great basic cash register! I didn’t want to deal with batteries and all the beeping, but I wanted one with a working calculator. The drawer doesn’t pop open as strongly as Lakeshore brand, but it does pop open and works just fine. The only ding sound it makes is when you open the drawer, otherwise it’s nice and quiet.

The media could not be loaded. I have had several toy cash registers over the years; for my child and now for my grandchildren. I must say that this one is sooooo much better than all the others. It is so much more realistic, if you can overlook the abundance of bright colored plastic. LOL. The shape is closer to the real thing. The calculator actually works (by solar or by batteries) and my favorite part of the whole thing is….. drum roll please…… the drawer is big enough that actual dollar bills fit in it. Most of the toys I have seen are too small for that. I could see using it for a piggy bank or even as a garage sale cash box! Hitting the open button, causes the drawer to pop open, just like a real cash register. This is way easier to access your garage sale money in a hurry. Much easier than opening a cash box over and over. And let’s just face it…. It is way more FUN, too! It doesn’t lock like a cash box, so a close eye would be necessary, but you have to do that with a cash box, too, so someone doesn’t just pick it up and carry it off. The coins have more realistic engravings on them than I expected. I do wish that the display was a little brighter and easier to read, but I’m glad that it works with the batteries in addition to solar, because it isn’t always bright enough inside to make the solar work. It has neat features, too. There is a button to turn the sound off, if you don’t want the beeping sound when the numbers/buttons are pushed. I also like the little white board, which would also come in handy at a garage sale, to make notes or add up a sale by hand real quick without needing paper to do it. I am soooo gonna use this at my next garage sale. Sorry kids… granny needs to borrow this.

My son and I love playing with this. I just wish it was more realistic as for having 5 slots for $100, $20, $10, $5, & $1 instead it only has 3. That’s really my only complaint. I’m planning on using it for when we start homeschooling next fall.

This would be a great gift for the holidays coming up, my daughter is 6 and is currently learning math at school, so this would be great for kids around that age and up. The drawer opened up easily with no hassle and the sound effects are so cute as well. This does not feel cheap at all. I really loved this so much because I know my daughter loves it and hasn't stopped playing with it.

My son is absolutely fascinated by math so we are trying to really facilitate his learning. This seemed like the perfect toy to help teach him some new concepts and use his imagination. We were right. This cash register toy is AWESOME! It includes everything you need (including some tiny little coin pieces that can be chokeys if you have younger children). All of the features work great. There is a working calculator, the cash drawer pops with a button, and there’s a mini whiteboard. What an awesome value! I would highly recommend this to anyone whose little one is interested in math.
