Shoe is definitely made to fit someone with a very thin foot. There was no give in the strap across the top of the foot. Made it very uncomfortable to wear. Had to give them away.

These are my favorite pair of wedges. I loved them so much that I bought them in both colors and will rebuy when they wear out. I wish they'd sell them in other colors as well. I'd buy those too .The adjustable velcro strap allows me to secure them in place, and works for me even though my ankles and feet run narrow. When I walk in these, I forget I'm even wearing heels, as they offer all the support and stability I need in a shoe. I can walk easily enough in them across cobbled streets which is a must for where I live. When the weather starts getting warmer again and I bring back out my spring/summer clothes, it feels like Christmas pulling them out of the box. They came dirty and obviously already worn. The bottoms were dirty and there was dirt along the side. Cute, but returned because of how dirty they were. I am between an 8 and 8.5 and ordered 8.5. A little big and could have probably gone down.

I have had ankle issues for years and not been able to wear kneels but after reading reviews on these and really wanting some heels - I bought these and hoped for the best - they are the best! If you have ankle issues, wide-feet or not, on your feet all day - it does not seem to matter with these.
