I actually ordered a similar pair (Steve Madden Zaray skate shoe) to compare them and these were SO much more comfortable and seemed more durable. Plus they were less expensive!! I have both the gray and black and they are my go to for work. The black pair is more like a snakeskin so they can make my feet hot in the summer but the office is usually cold anyway so it’s not a huge issue. They were also a little more snug at first but they do stretch out a little over time and kinda mold to your feet without sacrificing the support they offer. Very comfortable shoes. I regularly wear size 8, specifically in Toms if that helps anyone, and based on the reviews I decided to order 8 Wide. They fit real well, I think if I wore them with socks it would be perfect. I wear them without socks and there's some wiggle room, but they don't cause blisters and are really comfortable so I think it's perfect. There was no break in period, I basically wore them to walk a mile and then regular day wear right out of the box. The sole was comfortable but my feet were a little wide and started to hurt after 6 hours. Also they were a return that wasn't cleaned up great, had a little dirt on the outside. I would have returned it but I needed shoes quickly.

As you can see from the photo the color is way off.. but I actually like this color more. I can wear them dressed up or dressed down. Not very comfortable but I'm still breaking them in. My right foot seems tighter then the left over the dorsal part, it could just be my abnormal foot.
