I realized I wasn’t buying leather & wood but the fact the buckle was fake escaped me. Instead of a working buckle with three preset holes, there is Velcro under there. And to add insult to injury there’s no way to widen much more than 1 mm without showing the Velcro. Overall fail. Having owned a couple pairs of the originals in the 70’s I was very disappointed and wonder how much they would cost today ... show more
