Black shoes are very cute & comfortable. However I Purchased my usual size in both black & taupe. The black were true to size but the taupe were a full size too small. I also ordered wide which I typically don’t need to but based on the reviews thought it would be wise. And the wide on the taupe was NARROW. I love these shoes. I can wear them literally all day at work without having my feet hurt. Dr. Scholl's absolutely knows how to make comfortable, stylish, affordable shoes. They are casual enough to wear with jeans but nice enough to dress up with slacks or a skirt at the office. The shoe itself has a really nice flexibility to it, it's not stiff or tight. These ankle boots are super stylish and look great with a variety of outfits. They definitely stand out, and I got a lot of compliments wearing them. However, I found that while they’re comfortable for a short outing, wearing them all day caused noticeable back discomfort. The fit runs slightly tight; I ordered a half size up, but even then, they’re a bit difficult to pull on.
