I am obsessed with these boots! The insert with the zipper can be removed by re-lacing them, but they are soooo cute I'll never do that. They fit well, were comfortable right out of the box, and in true docs fashion, are exceptionally well made. For reference, I'm an 8, ordered an 8.

I ordered them in a size 11 (crackle leather diffrent seller I belive) because when I tried the Jadons size 10 women's in the mall the toe box was a little too tight. When they arrived I was a little disappointed that they didn't come in a box and was just thrown in a bag. I tried them on and they were way too big (Im a size 10) so I immediately reordered in a size 10(Smooth leather)I returned the 11s with no problem free with prime and was refunded a day later. When the size 10 arrived they came in a box and fit perfectly not too big but not to tight. Im extremely satisfied with this purchase!

Omg this boots are a must buy ladies. Listen i never really give reviews but after receiving my boots and trying them on I just had to write a review. So I was skeptical about buying them because some people say they are not true to size ..they can be tough on your feet ete!! I am a true to size 9 and a half and I bought a 9 and my goodness this fits perfect with or without socks am just in love with my boots!!!!

I have 2 other pairs of docs and LOVE them , both in US9. when I read the reviews on these boots a lot of ppl said they were bigger than normal for docs and to size down. I first bought a US 8 and they were WAY to small, my normal size in 9 was perfect !! THESE BOOTS ARE BADASS! I LOVE the way they fit, I'm going to be waterproofing them so hopefully the leather stays nice

Buy the boots !!! As most Dr. Martin boots these run a size large, so size down. I’m normally a 10 purchased 9 and they are perfect !!! Such a fun pair of boots easy to dress up or down. Even sweats look elevated with these !!

I was hoping I could wear this boot, as I’m searching for a fun/real work boot. This boot is built like a tank. The DM quality is impressive here. Love the leather with heavy duty zipper. The opening fits nice on a slim ankle. The platform rubber is awesome and will surely keep one’s foot dry; well above muck and debris. The toe box is rigid. At first, I thought it was a steel toe. Still, that feature bumps up the safety factor. The laces go through two levels of leather and are made to tie internally behind the tongue? Why? The zipper itself, is an incredible detail. The laces are useless and would be uncomfortable to have tied against one’s foot inside the boot. This boot is for dress up. I won’t say, I'm too old for that because I appreciate the whimsical nature. One of the best qualities about The Doc Martens brand is how it carries a girl through her youth, right into lady and grand dame! Still, my fantasy work/studio boot would have most of these features in brown leather wedge heel, without laces and with plain unthreaded toe. Please.

I’m an OG wearer of DMs, with four decades of cool under my belt and still going strong at 64. First pair I bought in the UK, it was soooo hard to get them in the states in the late 70s, early 80s and we were longing for them. These are my favorite of too many pairs to count. They are just. So. Badass. I love everything about them. Sizing in DMs has been tricky and at times heartbreaking for me. I have narrow, bony feet and I simply can’t break in the hard leather. So I took to buying used broken in pairs which is much better for me. The softer leather of these requires no painful break in. Still I look forward to a more worn look, that’s more my style. But also, I need a 6.5 in most Docs, which often leaves me plain out of luck. My toes can hit the end of 6s, my entire foot can slosh around in 7s. I’ve found it’s all about the particular style and the the absolute right combination of socks and insoles… keep trying in that regard! I first bought a 7 in these bc in spite of advice on the DM site to go smaller, I have had more luck with a cushiony sock and an insole ( and the Doc insoles are super great.) but with the 7s I was in two pairs of socks + inserts and still foot moving around while feeling like surrounded by cement. Ordered the 6s, was not optimistic and prepared for heartbreak. But I lucked out! Still need a single pair of thick socks to feel good in them, but it works! The extra height is fantastic and I love these with dresses of all lengths. As for the laces… come on people! Do not try to stuff them inside. Just pull them out of the last hole and wrap them round the ankle part of the shoe. Above or below the beefy zipper pull. Lastly, I don’t find these too heavy at all. Just… grounding. And, I’m prepared for the apocalypse. What more can you ask? Rock n roll 4 ever. 🖤

I have looked for my size (US 7) in these boots EVERYWHERE for MONTHS, and when I saw this listing on Amazon last week I was admittedly a little suspicious that they were real. I was wrong to doubt. They are real, and they are glorious. They are a tiny bit big (I usually wear a 7 1/2), but I knew going in that Dr. Martens always run large. If I had the option maybe I would have tried the 6, but then they may have been too small. Despite this, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH and wouldn't return them for anything. THANK YOU!!!!
