This Doc Martin is beautiful! I liked that the price point was definitey reasonable. It is super comfy given the padding around the ankle and tongue. So far, the buckles seem to hold up fairly well. However, they do seem a little flimsy and hard to buckle. *Fingers crossed* they last the test of time. My normal shoe size is a 10. I chose an 11 after scouring through reviews because it seems the common factor was either they were too big or too small. Since the shoe is padded and I have thicker legs and ankles I felt a 10 might be too tight, especially if I wanted to wear thicker socks. I'm certainly glad I did because the boots fit like a dream! 🥰 I have wiggle room in the toe box and a good fit around my cankles 😁. It's a good idea to determine your fit based on the size of your leg against the length of your foot. I also worried about them looking too big...but the shoe does not look bulky. It is a nice platform and with all that is going on it is a heavier boot...BUT it did not feel like I was dragging around cinder blocks. If you are on the fence pick a side! Hopefully you will buy them! They are gorgeous and can be worn with so many different fits! I'm excited to wear them out tonight! Update: 1/29/25 The buckle is the devil! Very good shoe. Love the style. I was debating between size 5 and 6 for quite a few moments. I am mostly 5.5 to 6, occasionally 6.5 in certain styles. I have docs vegan 2976 in 6 and it fit well. This shoe isn't so tight that feels uncomfortable in size 5. Meanwhile it's pretty heavy which I don't really mind but the heaviness defies any inclination for looser shoes. So I ended up with 5 and am returning 6. Nothing bad about this shoe. It's great looking and comfortable and the materials look very durable. Update: wore size 5 half day shopping. No breaking in needed. Heavy but comfortable. I am raising my rate to 5. Oh it's sort of lightly padded so will be great for cold weather. ... show more

The most beautiful pair of boots I've ever owned. I'm in love. They fit perfectly. I'm usually 8.5, and I bought size 8. I watched reviews that advised to size down if you were between sizes, and that actually worked. 10/10

Well made, sturdy. Very comfortable. Just had to add orthopedic insoles due to the lack of arch support. Very attractive leather with a beautiful texture. Just wish the straps had eyelets. It would make putting them on easier.

I own 9 pairs of Docs and typically do not have any issues with the fit or comfort. These run small and they are by far, the least comfortable pair I own. I don’t even know if changing sizes would matter, bc then my heel would slip. They are adorable though, so I just wear them for short periods of time. ... show more

These are adorable and comfy right out of the box! I ger compliments all the time and they look cute even with a cute dress. I struggle with most footwear because of my wide foot and love for being barefoot all the time. My poor toes usually suffer. These are great aside from a little difficult to buckle for me because of my arthritis but I recently discovered I can grab the handy loop and slip them on and off without unbuckling them everytime. ... show more

These are my first pair of Dr. Martens and I’m obsessed! The flower buckle detail is even cuter in person and adds such a fun, unique touch. They’re surprisingly comfortable right out of the box — no painful break-in period.
