These boots are beautiful! They are great quality, the color is so pretty, they're true to size, and surprisingly comfortable right out of the box. I wear a solid size 8 and because they don't offer half sizes these are a little on the loose side, which I expected. They should work fine for an an 8.5 as well. It just gives me room for thick socks. Usually Doc Martens take a while to break in, but because these are not thick leather, they're fine to wear without fear for several hours the first day, although I don't think I'd wear them that much time if it's all in your feet. I ordered an 8 (I normally wear 9). Very uncomfortable the first few wears but by the 3rd time they aren’t so bad. The laces that come with are too short to lace all the way up, there are 3 left unlaced. Cute though.

These boots really are adorable and I love the color! The sizing is the same as the original Doc Martens, however, since they are vegan they are not quite as flexible as the leather boots are. Purchased new directly from Amazon so I was a little surprised that they did not arrive in their original box. Not a deal breaker since the boots were obviously new, but still. ... show more

I keep a range of doc styles (sandals, soft leather, colorful, etc), and this is a great pair—they can be a challenge to get on (just because of the general structure), but once on, they’re comfortable & adorable. They required minimal breaking in, as far as docs go. Would recommend.
