I ordered these because I have a pair that lace up ones but I don't like how they look with everything I wear. Well, I LOVE this style and discovered that the slipon style is an added bonus for me. I don't mind the lace up ones, but the slipon is a nice feature and I find myself reaching for them often. I love Dr. Marten shoes and these boots are jo exception. I do wish they made half sizes, I have to size up and I feel they are a little loose. I have found uf I wear two pairs of socks, the fit is perfect. The size issue is not a reson not to buy the shoes, since they are gorgeous.

These are pretty comfortable but thick socks are necessary, it really will dig into the front of your leg until it breaks in. I'm usually a 7-7.5, 7 in docs, but these were very big, had to go to a 6, which fits well.

These are the comfiest boots ever! And they are so bad a** with a dress for fall. Extremely well made. The leather and stitching are perfect. They are typical doc martens and have some weight to them, so keep that in mind. I am so happy with these boots and they were definitely worth the splurge.
