These are absolutely gorgeous. Doc Martens tend to run really large, so I really recommend sizing down at least one full shoe size. For reference, I'm usually a US Women's 7-7.5, I ordered the size 6 and it fits perfectly, not too snug at all. I also went into a local shoe store and tried some similar Docs on just to check, definitely recommend doing that if you have the time. They also came with ribbon and regular laces included which I appreciated!! Ribbon is super durable and includes aglets. Plus, they were super comfortable to break in compared to other Docs. Amazing quality, so cute and durable. Also, if you don’t like the ribbon laces they come with some regular laces that are thicker than usual so they will fill out the big eyelet holes :)

I am a 7.5 so I contemplated for the longest time between 7 and 8 and I’m so glad I went with the 7. They are even a tiny bit big but will be perfect with insoles. An 8 would have been huge on me. If you are a half size definitely size down! They are a little shinier than I’d like but they are so pretty it’s ok. Shoes are heavier than I thought but is great with skirts, dresses, pants, and jeans. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and a 9 with shoes I pair with socks.

I have a few doc marten boots, some for better than others. I'm a true 8.5 in female shoes and always struggle with whole sizes. I ordered the size 9 and tried it with my favorite arch support insoles figuring I usually have to go up about half a size with this insoles. But the boots were way too big. I don't like having a lot of wiggle room on leather boots or shoes as they will loosen up and mold to your feet and if they're too big they can end up causing blisters and such. Anyway I ordered the 8 hoping they would fit. they were perfect!!! I stuck my in insoles in them and they're snug. Almost too snug. I'm hoping this will help break them in quicker around the house.
