I absolutely adore these shoes, and have worn them numerous times since purchasing them. I was surprised that they run big, originally I ordered a size 11 (typically I am a 12) and the 11s were large on me so I ordered a 10 which fit perfectly. They absolutely need to be broken in. Everytime I wear them it is typically with socks and I don’t have any issues with the straps cutting in, but the one time I choose to go barefoot in them my heels were destroyed. Aside from that the sole is very comfortable to stand in for hours.

I love these sandals and they go with a lot of stuff but if you have sensitive feet you might want to think about it before purchasing. These rubbed my skin raw around my ankles that are very sensitive to almost every shoe known to man, but I still love them and it won't stop me from wearing them again!

Love them, so comfy squishy (and add a few inches to my stature)! Definitely order a size down— I typically wear a 6 and had to go all the way down to a 5 for them to fit. Bands over the top of the foot are a little loose on my feet but I don’t mind too much. Overall happy

everyone will tell you to size down in these. i’m a size 8 womens and a size 8 fit me perfectly. the straps weren’t too tight or loose and i had enough room in the footbed. this is my second pair of doc sandals and i’ve always gotten an 8!!

The first pair of these that I ordered were a perfect fit. However, the straps over the top of your foot were way loose as if they were stretched out. I returned those and re-ordered another pair hoping for a better result. They were perfect around my foot every strap was snug as it should be. I took two steps in the shoes and the back strap popped out of the rubber as if it was never sewn together. I will be going to the Doc Martin store to purchase these from them directly
