Ok it took me a while to figure out my size. I am a true 6 1/2 and the size 6 US 37 is a 6 1/2 in these. They’re a tiny loose but fit fine for this 68 year old lol. Also no break in for me wore them right out of the box! I hope this helps you find your right fit!

I debated buying these for two whole years before I finally pulled the trigger during a Black Friday sale. The crazy horse leather looks and feels great, and I haven't worn any other shoes outside the house in the week and a half that I've had these. I will say that I bought some third party silicone heel cups and have been wearing them since the beginning [sandwiched between two pairs of socks] to prevent any stiff leather from chewing around my ankles. I am a true 9.5 in closed toe shoes and the 9 in these was still rather spacious for me, but it helps if your feet swell during long days. The shoes are heavy if you aren't used to a lug sole but not unbearably so. Great purchase all around.

I am an avid Doc wearer and fan and let me tell you, these are awesome. They are so comfortable, the buckels were a little stiff but that will change with time. I have dress socks on in the photo but fully intend on wearing my cute print socks with them because I have the room! The leather is also stunning in person, the overall structure and siIlouhette are spot on for a classic Mary Jane. I wore them to work today and I felt solid and confident walking in them. I normally wear a size 7 in all other shoes (ideally a 6.5 wide, but not every brand carries half sizes, Docs included) and I ordered a 6. Perfect fit. Wonderful shoe. Get them!

I’ve owned eleven pairs of Docs. I have been wanting these shoes forever and am so disappointed. The soles slide around, and fold while wearing, making them super uncomfortable. Are mine defective or is this consistent with this style? The leather scratches so easily, i don’t even have long nails and my fingernails scratch the sides so much just taking them on and off. They look worn after one wear. I’ve had other leather mary janes from cheap brands and was shocked to find Dr Martens, supposedly higher quality make them very difficult to take on and off, as well as the ever moving soles. I wouldn’t recommend saving for these. Just buy the dupes.
