Built on an AirWair sole secured with the iconic yellow welt stitch. Finished with an easy-on elasticated gusset and scripted heel loop.

It can be hard to find a size that fits in Docs and I’m a true 9. In the lace up boots (1460s), a 9 is too big and an 8 is too small, sadly. BUT!!!…in these Chelsea (2976s), a 9 works! In person this color is definitely a beige, and I tried to show that in comparing it to a light cream blanket in a photo. Though a firm sole, there’s a slight give to them which tells me that I can immediately go walking in them. I’ve can officially compare them to my Blundstones’ comfort and true-sizing. These were a bday gift and I love them! The color is unique and on trend. Boot fits true to size, I got my normal size 8. They are not as heavy as the docs from the 80’s. Bought these for my wedding in the mountains and intending to wear them casually after. They’re comfy but a little heavy. Color is more on the taupe side. Mostly disappointed that the outer coating started to peel off the twos within a few wears.

I think these shoes are great. You can see how they are very good quality, and will last well. My only issue with them is that they are heavy and take a while to break in.
