The classic 2976 Chelsea boot designed for an easier wear in. Constructed from fine-grain Virginia, a soft leather with little break-in required but the durability you can expect from DM's. Built on an AirWair sole secured with the iconic yellow welt stitch. Finished with an easy-on elasticated gusset and scripted heel loop.

These are classic Docs but I love the variation on the color - looks great with dresses/skirts and pants alike. They are true to size and the fit is standard, not too narrow. It might tight on wider feet. They are very heavy (like Doc's always are), just FYI

I think these shoes are great. You can see how they are very good quality, and will last well. My only issue with them is that they are heavy and take a while to break in.

These were a great deal. I read reviews, get your normal size with these - don't size down. This is a beautiful boot. Just got them and will need a little bit of breaking in, but they don't feel very stiff or uncomfortable right out of the box. Great color - just as shown/described. Bought these for my wedding in the mountains and intending to wear them casually after. They’re comfy but a little heavy. Color is more on the taupe side. Mostly disappointed that the outer coating started to peel off the twos within a few wears.

It can be hard to find a size that fits in Docs and I’m a true 9. In the lace up boots (1460s), a 9 is too big and an 8 is too small, sadly. BUT!!!…in these Chelsea (2976s), a 9 works! In person this color is definitely a beige, and I tried to show that in comparing it to a light cream blanket in a photo. Though a firm sole, there’s a slight give to them which tells me that I can immediately go walking in them. I’ve can officially compare them to my Blundstones’ comfort and true-sizing.
