These are definitely real Docs. The leather is so nice and soft. They form perfectly to any size calves. These boots will last forever and have enough foot room to be totally comfortable. I hike a lot in the woods (in a mild and cool climate) and like to have warm legs. These don't hurt my feet at all. I actually also use these for bike rides. They soles grip my pedals! It's really hard to find great quality tall boots that are actually for a lot of outdoor use. Keen used to be my go-to for this, but for some crazy reason they stopped making tall boots and when my last pair wore out, I was lost as to what to find to replace them. The boots are great! Soft leather and comfortable. Unfortunately the laces are too short. Disappointed that I have to buy correct length laces separately, considering the price of these boots. Can’t wear until I get them.

They are legit docs in all the packaging and cheaper than the website. Soft and comfy and I have thick calves and they didn’t seem like it was gonna be wide enough before I laced them but they’re perfection laced. No regerts!

Bought these as a gift for my wife, and she absolutely loves them. Previously bought her a pair of 1460s which required some significant breaking-in (literally went at them with leather conditioning lotion, a towel, and a hammer). These on the other hand required ZERO breaking-in. No uncomfortable tightness around the ankle, no heel rubs or excessive rigidity in the toe box, no blisters. Timeless style, goes with everything, makes dressing-down look up, and dressing-up look modern and edgy.
