The color of these is much prettier in person and I really love them. Unfortunately, they were about 1/2 size too long, and there are no half sizes so I did end up returning them. Not sure a full size smaller would have worked. I'm pretty much a true size 9, and maybe with thicker soz but, if they stretched any would slide I think. Watch them look. Come out of your comfort zone. I'm 65 and 5'10. You walk like, "yeah, look at me." Now, what they didn't say is you need a thick sock to keep the friction off your ankles. I called the store to find this out. Heavy boot.

I thought Amazon wardrobe would be great for testing out shoes -- you never know if they are too small or too big, since sizes vary from brand to brand and even sometimes from shoe type to shoe type within the brand. However, Amazon Wardrobe has been nothing short of a NIGHTMARE experience. I returned the items, Amazon said that I didn't, I provide them with a receipt to show that I even dropped it off at UPS weeks ago and that UPS shows that it has been delivered to the Amazon warehouse and n o t h i n g. Amazon stops replying to the emails and a week later charges me over $300 for 3 pairs of shoes that did not fit (these included, they were not comfortable at all) and for shoes I returned to them 3 weeks ago. I have loved these boots forever and when I found them for $89, I jumped on it! Sadly, I have high arches and the boot did not have enough give to allow my feet to go all the way in. My unfortunate issue, not the boots. Boooo!

These fit extremely well and are incredibly comfortable. It's like walking on clouds. I would suggest these boots to anyone who needs a good pair or is on their feet a lot.
