So I have had these a little over 30 days now and missed my window to return these... I love Dr. Martens and have several pairs, I also wear TUK creepers... I would have thought these would be the best of both worlds, the durability of Docs and the creeper style... but 30 days I cannot recommend them... These have taken forever to break in and I have had to put these in shoe stretcher several times now. They pinch my pinky toes and the floor bed is very stiff. I think this is due to the fact as they are trying to accommodate both men and women shoe fittings... I feel the shoe box is too narrow and why they are pinching. Stretching that area has help very little. They are very stylish and have gotten compliments on them. But they are not comfortable out of the box... Update: 09/09 they finally broke in a couple of weeks ago. I additionally purchased (shortly after the first review) some dr marten wonder balsam. They are holding up quite well like I expected that they would… the footbed is still very stiff. ... show more
