I've been trying out a different work boot pretty much every year. Hoping to find something that I could work all day in without destroying my feet. On a whim, I decided to wear some Dr. Martens even though I haven't worn them since the '90s. I can tell you without a doubt in my mind that these are the most comfortable work boots I have worn. Not only am I wearing them to get through an 8 or 10-hour work day. In dry conditions, on concrete, in the heat and in the cold, I'm getting home and doing things around the house. The house we're getting my shopping done or any of the other hundreds of things that I do after work. What I'm not doing is rushing to my truck to take these boots off after my shift like I have done with every other work boot before these. Get a second pair and pair them with wool socks so that you can cycle through them every couple of days and every time you put them on they'll feel fresh and ready to do it again. ... show more

These fit true to size. I ordered a 12M and I have size 12M in a couple other Doc Marten boots that fit similarly. I’ve worn them in 30 degree NY weather, and I found them warm. There was enough room for thick wool socks. I’ve worn them several days, and I think they are still a bit firm. Not uncomfortable as I was able to wear them all day without issue, but they do take a bit to break in. They material and construction is lightweight but sturdy.
