I bought these in honor of my friend who passed in a band called flowerland song crazy horse 🐎 name Roger you should definitely check it out on YouTube and then to Chris Cornell of Soundgarden who has also crossed over and he would wear boots like these so when I saw they were also called crazy horse 🐎 I just had to see if they fit and low and behold they fit amazing. These are great! They aren't as stiff as the originals but that's a bonus. They've come back around in fashion so my 17 yr old daughter wanted these for Christmas. I struggled with which ones to get but I'm super happy I chose these, she loves them. They run a bit big, she's a women's 10 and they are closer to a 10.5 but with no half sizes a men's 9 is actually a women's 10.5 and I knew this prior to buying. Always better to go up a half size than down. The soles on these are great too, not to bulky or high but still enough to make a statement. My daughter is 5'10 so she doesn't like extremely high soles and these don't add too much height, maybe an inch or inch and a half or so. Also she was worried she would look like she had boat feet, she's also very thin, but these don't look bulky in any way. Overall extremely happy!

Perhaps the sizing is inconsistent given reviews are also inconsistent. I'm a size 8.5 and got a Womens 8, box and boot labelled as the expected UK 6. I have 4 pairs of doc martens here all UK 6 and they all measure about 25.5cm insole. These measure 26.7cm and are too large even though I went down half a size. Otherwise the quality of the boot is excellent.

These boots are fabulous. I love Dr. Martens, but hate the time and effort it takes to break them in. These boots are by far the most comfortable I’ve purchased from Dr. Martens, and I can tell breaking them in will be no problem at all. I always have to size down in the brand and typically wear a 5, which is what I ordered in these. They fit well with warm winter socks as well. So excited to get to put these to use this fall and winter!!

My son bought some knock-offs. Thankfully they didn't fit, so we could return them and buy the real deal. He went up a size, or two, so he will be able to wear them a long time. Nothing beats the real thing. We got a phenomenal price, but it was only his size. A bonus!
