These are a bit big for my feet. I typically wear somewhere between a women's size 7.5 and 8.5 depending on brand. These women's size 8 Docs are quite wide and a bit too long. I like how roomy they feel though. The shoes seem very well made and are easy to put on. I really like the way they look. After about a week, I broke them in well enough that I can wear them with no fear of blisters (as long as my socks are thick).

Typically I need a “wide” in every shoe/boot. I tried these on at my local rack room shoes and was surprised how well they fit even with my extra wide foot. I wear they everyday on job sites walking on concrete, dirt and gravel and grass and they do so well. My feet never hurt and they were cheaper online rather then an in store purchase.

I bought these after a lot of thought because I wanted a Chelsea boot. I always am reluctant to buy boots online because I have a super high instep which makes it difficult to do a pull on boot, but these fit me perfectly! I wear them with my jeans rolled up, and they are exactly what I wanted and what I envisioned! They really bring me back to my 90s youth when I would wear docs. But these are much more updated for the times. They were instantly comfortable and took no breaking in, and the leather is matte so it's not shiny which I love.

Amazing value. Very comfortable and I didn’t have to break them in. I would say if you have bigger ankles, these might be uncomfortable and really tight in the anke area. I have normal sized ankles and they are fitted on me.

I really loved that on my first wear these were SOOOO comfy....honestly, I struggle to get comfy shoes and do nooot believe in breaking shoes in....as many ppl do....if there is pain in the process it's not a good show....at least in my eyes...it just ain't worth it.....but these were AWESOME and comfy.....thought it wld bother me around the opening above my ankle Bec it is a bit tight and u feel it right when u put it on ...bit once u actually start walking I cldnt notice it anymore....they just adjusted so easily....I have them in black and brown....wore the black once so can't say if they will also get crease marked or not like the brown ones .....o and one thing I wish they were a bit less bulky so they wld look nice with a nice outfit bit Bec of bulkiness and creaseware they are too casual and don't match all outfits....but of course I still love them! Recommend to anyone who does not do beauty for pain and is tomboyish and doesn't care to be very feminine looking daily....and of course it's unisex so for any men out there looking for comfort......it has such a nice wide toe box making them even better....and trust me...I've tried on other dr martins...like the combat laxe ups....so uncomfy and they def beed breaking in.....but these r a gift from heaven from the first wear!

I ordered these to wear on my trip to Portugal. I usually wear a women's 8-8.5 so I ordered these in an 8. They came in the original box, with the Doc Marten tissue paper inside that I'm used to seeing from buying shoes at an actual DM store. The opening at first is a bit tight to slide your foot through but it does give a bit with each wear. The toe box was quite spacious and I'm not sure if that's because it is a unisex boot. I felt like if they offered half sizes a 7.5 would fit better, but a 7 would be too small. After going up and down the hills in Porto and averaging 7+ miles a day for 6 days in these my feet were fine. I did develop a hot spot on one of my heels but that was from another pair of shoes I wore out for my hiking day trip. Even with that hot spot, a little bandaid and my new boots my feet were ready to walk another 7miles. It rained off and on throughout the trip and my feet stayed dry and I didn't feel like I would slip on the cobblestones at all. Would recommend buying these while they're on sale if you can.

I wanted to love and keep these, because they are well-made, beautiful boots. But the ankle opening was too narrow for me. They felt like a noose around my ankles. The footbed was just right though. I returned them because I didn't think the ankles would ever loosen up enough for a good fit.
