I've bought several pairs of these boots over the past few years in different styles/colours. They have the quality and comfort you'd expect from a pair of DM's. You can wear them with jeans and they look great, while they even look totally acceptable with a pair of slacks or work trousers. Right now, besides a pair of socks, they're the only thing I wear on my feet. Not that I'm a fashion icon appearing on a catwalk or at the Oscars or anything... Some Chelsea boots can be a struggle until you've broken them in, but I have found these 'Hardies' exceptionally easy to put on or take off, even from first use and they have never given me a blister for my trouble, unlike other DM's I've owned. I'm sold and will buy them whenever I need a new pair of footwear provided DMs continue to sell them.

I love these Docs. I had gotten the crazy horse style first, but that leather was too stiff for me. The ankle width was more narrow and higher. After 3 days of wearing them to break them in, it was too uncomfortable on the sides of my ankle. I would have to wear high socks to not have it rub against my skin. I got these instead and the leather is more like suede, so its alot softer. Its so easy to slip on and take off. These have a wider ankle and fit more like a bootie. It was much more my style plus no breaking them in;) The inside is also like a fleece which I didn't know; it feels soft and warm:) I'm happy I tried these because I love them! I'm also a 8.5 in women's shoes and got the 8 and they fit great. I'd say it would fit anyone from an 8-9 in women's size. Can't wait to get some in black next:D

I ordered the “Dark Brown Waxy Suede Wp” and normally wear a US 8, but Dr. Marten sizing intentionally sizes a whole size large so I ALWAYS order their boots one whole size down than my normal. A size 7 with Dr. Marten is the same as a size 8 for any other brand. It says that on the official website, but rarely on Amazon for anyone that’s wondering about sizing. Otherwise, very comfortable boot! I usually have growing pains with Dr. Marten with several hot spots and blisters as the leather interior gets broken in, but I walked 3-4mi yesterday in these straight out of the box with my regular boot socks and had zero issues. That’s coming from someone with very sensitive feet, too! I would say they’re a medium width, not too wide or too narrow. Very lightweight with a nice smooth sole.

I liked that I didn't need to break them in , wore them for 3 days straight at work , 3rd day they gave me blisters on my ankles and made my legs seem more tired at the end of a work day
