First let me say that I am on my feet a big part of each day as I work in agriculture. When it was time to get new work boots, I tried on at least 10 pairs over a few months period. I tried Ariat (which I’ve worn many times), Carhartt, Columbia, and Timberland. I even tried out Keen hiking boots and I returned them all. I have not worn Docs since high school (many years ago) and never thought of them as a possible work boot. I took a chance on them and I’m so happy I did. These are the most comfortable boots I’ve worn in a long time!!! I absolutely love them. They are stylish and comfortable. Now it did take me a few days to mold my lower legs to the stretchy top of the boot above my ankles, but after that, an amazing fit! I wear a 7 1/2 or 8 and the 7 was perfect. Docs run big.

Very happy with my purchase! I was worried since the price is so cheap for Docs, but the quality and look is great. I'm a women's 8-8.5 and the size 8 fits perfect. A bit tight on the ankles and hard to take off at first but just needed to wear a few times to break them in. Definitely worth it!

Be sure to get next size down! Then be prepared for tight entry and stiff feel for the first few days. It took 3 days and now these Doc Martens Chelsea’s fit like a glove! I did a side by side with Blundstones and found these more of a boot style.

I was hesitant to order a size down, so I ordered my usual size 39, and they were too big even with inserts and thick socks. I ended up sending them back for a size 38. They're narrower on my wide foot, but they're starting to break in after just one week. I'm really happy I sent them back for the smaller size.

I usually wear a US women’s 7.5 or 8 - based on other reviews, I ordered a size down. I have a very high arch and they were VERY snug when I first put them on - in fact, I really struggled to even get them on at all! However, there was plenty of ‘wiggle room’ for my toes so I decided to wear them a few times with the hope that they would loosen up. I’m so glad I did! While it still takes a bit of effort to get them over my arch, once they are on, they are very supportive and comfortable! They are great quality and I expect to enjoy them for many years!

These boats are really nice; they look good, the leather is good, and the soles are very good. No complaints whatsoever. The only thing I would note is that they do run roughly 1/2 size too large (I normally wear a 9.5 and ordered a size 9; the size 9's fit great while wearing regular cotton socks). One thing I'll really note here is that -- comparing them to Blundstones and Thursday Boots -- they seem just as good if not better. Plus, they're like half the price. Very happy.
