These are the best boots I have bought in a long time. The first day wearing them my feet felt amazing. The leather is snug but will definitely mold to my feet over time. I saw from all the reviews to size down and was a bit skeptical. I still ordered the size 8 womens even though I typically wear a size 9. I am so glad I did. Perfect fit! These boots fit true to size and look fantastic. While they do require a brief break-in period where they might feel a bit stiff, they become incredibly comfortable once they’ve molded to your feet. They are versatile enough to serve as rugged work boots or stylish everyday footwear

I love these! Bought them as paddock boots for the barn and they didn’t disappoint. They do run VERY large. I had to go down two sizes. The leather stretches wide-wise but obviously not length wise. Except for the fact that these are a full size off for women, these are super. I am a standard size 8, but my size in these boots was very long and sloppy on my foot. I had to send my first pair back and get a women’s size 7. Size 7s fit perfectly. The classic Dr. Martens footbed is fantastic. Instant comfort out of the box. You’ll need to break in the leather. The shaft is particularly stiff and needs at least a few hours of breaking in—as does the upper. Once you bend the leather around and break in the boots for a few hours, they feel great. Other than that, these are great looking, comfortable boots. I love how the brown leather begins to patina right away, giving them a “lived in” look fast. They look great with a variety of jeans/pants styles. Love these. One star off for the sizing issue. ... show more

Best Dr Martens ever… I’ve been a big fan of Dr Martens since the 80s but haven’t own a pair in 20 years. I was looking for some Chelsea boots and decide to give them a try. I cannot be happier about this choice, they are very comfortable, no need to break in. I walked 10 kms a day or more for two weeks in a recent trip and can vouch for them in terms of comfort and quality not to mention how good they look. Only advice is to ensure the leather with its patina it’s something you like… if you are expecting the usual Martens finishes you will get disappointed, personally I love the look of it. ... show more

    • Measure your foot using the size guide

Normally I'm a size 7 women's but looking at the size guide and following the heel to toe measurements I'm actually a size 6 women's. My foot measured 9.55" and the size 6 fit great. They are very tight around the ankle as too he expected since these are slip on shoes but you will eventually figure out how to use the elastic sides to your advantage when putting them on. Other reviews said eventually the ankle will loosen. I love the wide toe box as well. I recently returned a pair of Chelsea boots from Tom's because their toe box was too narrow and uncomfortable. I bought the Dr. Martens Embury Chelsea Boots (Black Wyoming) and immediately remembered who I was in the late ’90s. There is truly nothing better than a solid pair of Docs—sturdy, timeless, and built like they could survive a minor apocalypse. The leather feels tough but comfortable, the Chelsea style slips on easily, and they somehow manage to look both classic and slightly rebellious at the same time. The moment I put them on, I had the uncontrollable urge to dig out my JNCO jeans and dust off my Nine Inch Nails CD collection. Not because I needed to—but because the boots demanded it. They have that unmistakable Doc Martens presence: confident, unapologetic, and quietly judging every flimsy shoe in the room. Bottom line: these boots are a win.
