Based on: One normally buys boots a half size smaller than their sneaker size.. I wear a US10 in sneakers and get 9.5 in *most* boots (Wolverine, some doc, Barbour, etc.), and as such, based on the recommendations in these reviews... I ordered a 9 as many of the reviews said the boots run BIG; they do and they don't...the 9 felt roomy for a 9 (but not 9.5). So, ordered a 10...whiiiiich feels like a 10 (wearing normal socks (not double, not thick and not dress or 'fitness socks' - plain old normal socks. They are a wider boot in the toe box and the 10 width is (duh) wider than the 9 so there is a bit more room. If you are on the fence, get your REAL size and put in some real insoles if they feel a bit large, in fact, even if they feel find, replace the, anyway as the stock insoles are 100% flat/thin garbage). NOTE: in the photo those other docs ('Pier' no longer made, are US10s as well, which also had 'runs big' in reviews...again, feet are weird).

Comfortable, better then expected, very durable, use as work boots, being on my feet all day, the boots do not slide across slippery floors and comfortable throughout the day. Buying a 2nd pair for days I am not working. Highly recommended, for someone who is constantly walking all day.

I was trying to look for something in between a shoe and a boot. These wre perfect. I've had Docs in the past but never ones with a canvas/leather combo. I am a 10.5 but these only sell in even sizes, so I got the 10 and they fit perfect and they are very comfortable.with great arch support. Hope this helps someone who has similar size.

I've had a few Dr. Martens before, and for whatever reason, they're never quite as comfortable as I'd want them to be given the brand's reputation and prices. These are on the lower-end pricewise for Dr.Ms, and they seem to be mostly synthetic uppers, which is fine w/me. The sole is the same thick/clear polyurethane (I think) chunky one w/thick yellow stitching around the edge that you see on other Dr.Ms, which I LIKE. I've only worn them a few times so far, so I can't comment on durability (but they seem very sturdy, as most Dr.Ms do) and the comfort seems a LITTLE better than the full-leather punk-rock type Dr.Ms that are more traditional. These are lighter, and perhaps a LITTLE more flexible, but I think they're going to take a while to break in after which I hope they'll actually BE comfortable, because that's what I WANT. Sizing seemed more or less correct... I usually take a 9, and these in 9 fit as I'd expect, with a tiny bit of extra room for toe wiggling and an extra not-too-thick insole as is my habit. I really do like the way these 'chukka' boots look vs. traditional/hardcore Dr.Ms, so I really hope they'll eventually soften a bit and become my favorite boots, though honestly, it's still too early to know for sure. Tentatively, I'd grade these a B- until I know more.

As a chef I value comfort and durability when it comes to shoes. And these are on top of the list when it comes to it. I have 3 separate pairs of docs. And will always click buy now without hesitation if I need to replace them. The price seems high at first, but after 3 or 4 years when you put them on for that one last time; you feel the satisfaction of having made the right decision.

The media could not be loaded. Super nice DM’s. I was worried about sizing because the reviews were saying true to size. I am a ladies regular size 7. I took the plunge and ordered men’s 5 women 6. They fit perfect with a bit of room in the toe box which is as it should be. I can feel I will need to break in or adjust at the top where the laces tie. I love the dark chocolate brown. Beautiful color. Looking forward to wearing them. Bonus, they came with yellow laces included.

I was not even able to slip my foot in half way, this is definitely not size accurate. All my shoes have been size 13 since I was like 14 years old. This is the ONLY size 13 I couldnt slide on my foot. I have worn work boots for years that again, have all fit me. So if you plan on getting it I would jump up at least one size.
