With 8 eyes, classic leather, yellow stitching and grooved sides, the 1460 carries the DNA of the original Doc Martens boot. The only key difference? A narrower design for women. Doc, you have knocked it outta the park, AGAIN! This month I have had the privilage to purchase 3 pairs of Doc Martens (actually 5 pairs if you count returns); and the only kink to work out with these beauties is finding the size that is perfect for you..The confusion ends here; it's time that I solve this mystery for all of you... 1. Look at the description of the docs you are interested in; are they men's? Women's? Unisex? (Btw, I have not ventured into any of the children's sizes, so you're on your own in the kiddo department)...Once you know which category the Docs fall into, choose one and stick with it. 2. If you chose mens or womens for step one, go ahead and select the particular size you normally wear in the category you chose from step one. If you are a half size, round up to the nearest whole number (if you are a mens 9.5, you should choose a size 10, like I did for the boots I am reviewing) 3. If you are interested in a unisex pair, women should go down two whole sizes (ex. I wear a womens 8; in a unisex pair of Docs, I wear a size 6)...for men who wear a half size, round up to the nearest whole number size; for men in a whole number size, select the size you normally wear. 4. Be mindful of the UK sizing that can throw an American boot lover all outta whack...if its listed as a UK size, look at the size chart, and I wish you luck! ;) In conclusion, I bought a unisex pair for myself, selected a size 7, and they were like a while size too big still...those I returned for a womens size 8, which fit perfect, therefore were true to size. I ordered my man a mens size 9, which were too small for his 9.5 foot...I exchanged those for a mens 10, and BINGO! Perfect fit for him too...I hope this helps, and if you are on the fence about this purchase, go on and treat yourself to the most amazing boots you will ever have..Thanks Doc!:)

Such a good quality! I was waiting for a month because i'm russian, so, dear seller, sorry for my delay with a feedback! Now about boots: Amazing! I've had a bad, bad experience with a Martens, my last pare of boots (was bought in Russia) was a fake. So i have been using them for a 2 years (not bad). But now i can see a total difference. Different package, different leather, different smell! Leather is really quality. I can see a water repellent on leather, good shoelaces, good flexible sole with not too hard rubber. It's important, i've seen a check (control) sticker. So, i used them for 4 days (And in Russia now a REALLY BAD weather, guys) and i'm absolutely happy. I needed a not too much - pare of fine boots and i got it. If you have any doubts - stop it :) Take it and don't be afraid! Delievery to a pick-up-point was very fast and safety too.The. i've had to wait a month for a delievery to Russia but it was another company specialized in delievery to Russia. And i forgot! Size chart was accurate, it fits so good. Thank you, seller! (And for all who read it: Sorry for my bad english ^^)

I returned these immediately...I ignored some of the reviews that suggested these were knockoffs (fake) and I shouldn't have. They come in a repackaged box, out of the box they look like they should, but as I began inspecting them for issues that have been reported by others the first thing I noticed was that the front region of the boot is not attached well to the sole. They is far to much movement when you tug gently on the sole. I do not believe that these are real and I am confident that they would have separated at the sole after a little use. I have owned Doc boots for years and they are my go to boot when wearing jeans. Most pairs I have owned have lasted for 6 years or so with regular use. These are not the quality I know....Buyer beware....I cannot believe Amazon allows this seller to continue to sell these.

From the second you open the box, you know these are FAKE: 1) the boots weren’t in a Doc Marten box, but a generic one which read, “your box was replaced because the original was damaged in transit.” Nothing was damaged in transit, the boots were part of a large order and packed with several other items in a large (undamaged) box. 2) the boots were basically thrown into the box with no tags, wrapping, stuffing, etc. 3) the tongue on each boot was too short and flimsy and didn’t match rest of boot 4) although they smelled like leather they looked and felt like plastic/vinyl 5) I have two other pairs of Docs and these were NOT the same at all So beware...I couldn’t return these things fast enough. Guess I need to be more careful moving forward, but I’d never had a problem with receiving fakes through Amazon Prime - well, not that I know of anyway...

Bought these less than a month ago to use as my emt boots. By week two the leather is already wearing thin and last week the Soul is separating from the rest of boot. These are no longer the boots of policemen mail men and service men. The boot is cheaply made with the lowest quality materials and made by the lowest bidder. The leather is cheap and already is fraying, the stitching is done crudely and cheaply and the yellow stitching on the bottom is frayed and coming apart. It has been a month and I can't return these as they are "well used" and now I'm going to have to drop even more money for a proper pair of boots.

Not gonna lie, they did get taken from me somewhere down the line but like while I had them it was hell. They look great: I got it in red and I loved the aesthetic. However, in order to wear these shoes new, you have to pretty much destroy your entire ankle and heel to break them in. It does not matter how many layers of sock you put on your foot, it will dig right through. Bandages and ointments, lotions and all that, they don't help. You will suffer until the leather is soft enough. At this point, I'd rather have bought them second hand because at least they wouldn't hurt this much. Bottom line: great shoe, I'm sure they'll hold up. But you have a long journey of pain before that.
